Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Winterthur District

Very nice stay for a larger group of people. Lovely views and calm / quiet neighborhood. Very easy to access the train into Zurich and elsewhere. Overall a great stay! The only mild inconvenience was the fact that there is only one toilet and one shower, so if staying with a large group, take that into account.

We had a great time staying at Eckharts place. The place was clean, spacious, and flooded with light, in a very peaceful neighbourhood with all stores in walkable distance. There’s a neighbour’s car that comes greeting in the garden every day, which is great. We had some funny scaredy cat moments as sometimes the ceiling was creaking mysteriously…. And at night the bed made mysterious sounds… but nothing too scary 😁 The host is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for having us!

We spent pleasant days in a beautiful environment and would be happy to come back. The house is very well equipped and was sparkling clean and well heated. We also particularly enjoyed the library with books and maps of the area. Many thanks to the hosts.

We absolutely loved our stay! We visited at the end of March and really enjoyed the garden—it must be even more beautiful in summer with all the trees and plants in full bloom. My partner suggested that a sauna would be a great addition, but even as it is, the house is already a perfect summer retreat. The entire house is well-equipped—there’s nothing missing! It’s located in a very quiet area, and you can easily walk to town. Groceries are also within walking distance. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks Martina

Thierry’s place was wonderful! We spent 5 full days there and absolutely loved it. It’s in the beautiful countryside about 20 minutes from Zurich city center. Plenty of space and we loved using the pool, hot tub, and sauna. Would absolutely stay there again! One thing to note - do not ask for them to call you a taxi as they charged us 130 Swiss francs when an Uber is only about 40.

A unique small cottage- style room beautifully converted to a BNB with class. Superb garden setting with frequent trams to the city. Also a friendly neighbourhood for short or longer strolls. Host was very accommodating and helpful.

Great house, in a nice very green setting, adapted to families, perfectly equipped. Fluid and responsive communication. Only small surprise: a few planes passages some days just above the house.

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Rachel’s apartment over Easter. It was so cozy and very nice with the garden. It was quiet and in a beautiful area with good access to public transport.

My wife and I enjoyed our visit in Zurich. Duri was a great host.

I was the second time at Eluard's place. It still very nice, quite, but very close to the city center and the main station, takes some minutes to the Hardbrücke station, and there is always a train within some minutes to the center. Also groceries stores and restaurants are in walking distance from the apartment. The apartment has its own entry directly from the street, so it feels like a city home. I can only recommend it.

Very nice two-level apartment in a historic house. Nice view of Untersee directly opposite the back door. Very well equipped. Great location in the middle of Berlingen, which is small but has a couple of really nice restaurants, a good bakery and a quality butchers. Marco and Sara were fantastic friendly hosts, with great communication!

Very nice apartment in an older wooden house. The location was well described, you could reach many beautiful places by car easily and relatively quickly. For children there were also many toys, so our child was never bored when we could not go out because of bad weather. The landlady was also very nice and helpful, you could also ask for advice at any time. The place is highly recommended.

Franziska and Renato's apartment is beautiful: spacious, well located, sunny and bright. It is very tasteful and furnished with attention to detail. We felt at home from the first moment. The location in Toggenburg is very suitable for hikes, bike tours or excursions to the surrounding area (St. Gallen, Appenzell etc.). Shopping can be done in 5 - 10 minutes on foot in the village. Franziska and Renato respond quickly to requests. Their information is comprehensive and competent - including tips on excursions or restaurants. Apartment and support are great - highly recommended.

The accomodations were exactly as described and comfortable. Our host Muriel was very accommodating to our needs and responded quickly to our messages.

We had a great men's weekend in nature, the Seealpsee is not far for hiking, the kitchen super equipped for cooking. Utensils are more than available in the kitchen, also oils, spices, baking paper, etc. Cozy fireplace and great fireplace for grilling.

Very warm welcome by Martin and his family. The cabin is picturesque and we enjoyed being able to make a fire in the brazier that adjoins it.

We were able to fully enjoy our stay and switch off wonderfully. The place was very romantic and designed with a lot of love for detail. Livia is an accommodating and helpful hostess – you feel welcome from the start. The breakfast was balanced, fresh and incredibly delicious. We will be happy to come back.

The location, the well-kept garden with seating, the direct lake access, the conservatory with cheminee, the kitchen, the sauna with shower, the toilets are GREAT!!! The bedroom and the living room are small, but comfortable. What didn't work: hot tub and TV. But it wasn't a big deal for us. We had a sensational time and would be happy to come back.
