Family-friendly vacation rentals in Winooski

Absolutely perfect house for the bachelorette party of 10 girls!! It was clean, cozy, spacious, and close to all Stowe has to offer! It slept all 10 adults very comfortably, the fireplace in the living room was lovely, the front porch was so comfortable and a great spot to gather on while some were in the hot tub! Massive driveway, plenty of parking, house was fully stocked with towels and kitchen appliances. We got a ton of snow while we were there and Ryan shoveled our porch and plowed the driveway! The decor and lights throughout the space were beautiful, so welcoming and inviting. We had the best weekend and can’t wait to come back!

The place was everything we expected and more! Lynn was super nice and helpful, we informed her that we were running early and she let us check in to the Airbnb 40 minutes early. We loved having all that space to explore with the dogs. It truly was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. I would love to come back in the fall!

We appreciated how pet friendly this place was! Fenced in yard. Blankets to cover the furniture to allow dogs on them. Close enough to many different ski mountains. Perfect to come home to the wood stove and hot tub.

Beautiful home, as described. Nice personal touches with towels and mini shampoo/conditioner. Kitchen is large and has most every appliance you would want. Caretaker does come in twice per day but is friendly and unobtrusive. You do need AWD/4WD to access the house.

Samantha and Chris's place was a perfect spot for a Smugglers Notch getaway! it's a beautiful home, perfect for a family of 4. Even in cold temperatures( at -5F and lower) with lots of snow, the place was cozy warm with the wood burning furnace (clean and devoid of smoke) as well a propane heater downstairs. Literally 2 turns from the slopes of a great family ski mountain! But the views and location of the property were amazing for those wanting to do other things than ski. Samantha was responsive and an excellent communicator. I have to throw in that everything in their kitchen was in excellent condition (every appliance) including sharp functional chef knives (an uncommon phenomenon for a renter) Thank you Samantha and Chris! Sharing your home with us was a touch- stone of great new family memories!

Sugarbush Ski House Our stay at this besutiful Airbnb ski house in Sugarbush, Vermont, was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the spacious, modern design and the thoughtful details that made this home a great place for a family trip. The house has nice open floor plan with great views both from in the house and a large deck on the outside. The living room was very comfortable with space for all including two dogs. The kitchen is modern and has great appliances, supplies, and prep area. The bedrooms were large with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The other amenities were top-notch. The sauna and hot tub were absolute luxuries after a long day on the slopes, providing the ultimate relaxation experience. Everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort and ease of our stay. If you’re planning a trip to Sugarbush, this house is not to be missed. Definitely a five star house!!

Home away from home! Susan was a fantastic host. She was very responsive and communicated quickly. This home was perfect for our group of 6 and it was extremely cozy! This was our first time in Vermont and it definitely exceeded all of our expectations. If you looking for a pleasant place to stay with amazing views, look no further than this adorable Airbnb! We skied in Stowe, toured the Ben and Jerry’s ice cream factory down the road and enjoyed some live music at the ZenBarn. I would highly recommend this property! We hope to visit again soon :)

Home now after a couple days at the cabin. Feeling fully rested and can’t express enough how much we needed this getaway. Ago and Marty go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and provide you with everything you could need to relax and have a great time. We will be coming back here. Hopefully soon.

This is a great house to stay in. There's a lot of space, places to sleep, sit and relax, eat, watch tv, play games, work, read, cook. Plenty of hot water.. Very private, although in a neighborhood. Nice back yard area when not covered in snow, looking up at the mountains behind. Sheri is top notch. Easy to reach, super friendly and helpful, easy going. We came at the tail end of a snow storm, but the driveway was cleared enough to get our car in and then Sheri worked with us to make sure everything was cleared before we had to go out the next day. Easy walk into the cute town of Bristol. Handful of nice shops (books, games, art, crafts, gifts, toys) and restaurants: Wokky's--ok Chinese/great staff; Minifactory--out of sight coffee/biscuits/sandwiches/fresh ingredients/lot of gluten free; Cubber's--locals' joint/excellent pizza/sandwiches; Farmhouse Chocolates--superb fresh organic truffles, bars, caramels/chocolatier is wonderful. Easy drive to Mad River Glen, Sugarbush for skiing.

We had an absolutely spectacular time staying with Gerette! Her beautiful cabin was everything we hoped for and more. Our golden retriever had the time of her life bounding through all of the snow!

Ideal for a quick college visit. Walkable to campus and breakfast / dinner options. Dog friendly too - exactly what we needed!

Great house and location was easy to get to, close to airport, and events.

Claudia’s cabin was exactly as described- a private little cabin in the woods. The house was adorable, cozy, and close enough to Stowe for skiing (about 25 mins to base). The only minor issues I had were the use of the beautiful soaking tub (unusable due to water pressure/temperature), the temperature of the first floor bathroom( cold), and the amount of dog hair throughout. Disclaimer, I travel with my non-shedding dog so I’m not used to seeing dog hair on my clothing, and perhaps it was the previous renter who had a long haired shedding dog, but it was everywhere- couch, beds, cozy chairs, floor. Came home with hair covered clothing. There’s a sign by the door that says “no outfit is complete without dog hair”! These issues were not enough to complain to Claudia about, because as I mentioned - minor- everything else was spot on. She even had snacks in the fridge. Do bring extra toilet paper and paper towels if you book. I couldn’t find any. Otherwise, great stay.

Dori's place was lovely. There is a nice park very close to walk your dog and I felt very safe at Dori's. You can walk to Pine Street where you will find restaurants. I highly recommend Dori's place.

Genevieve's bungalow was the perfect home base for a trip to visit UVM with my daughter. The location was perfect — walkable to the lake and downtown. We rented a car so were able to drive to campus in just minutes. Her place was cozy and charming as promised. We loved the huge library of books and beautiful art on the walls. Plus, visits from Cecil the cat made it all the better. Genevieve was very easy to communicate with, directions to get inside etc. were clear, and we felt well taken care of. I can't recommend her place enough. My daughter is likely to attend UVM in the fall, and we'll be sure to book this AirBnB again.

Felt right at home. A nice spacious place for us to stay on our way to Montreal.

Our family had a great time at the Topnotch Resorts. The unit was cozy and clean with everything we needed. It was great to have access to a washer and dryer to throw in the ski clothes from the day. The indoor pool and hot tub facility was beautiful with fresh towels available and and a family changing area. The outdoor pool and hot tub were also awesome with a view of the mountains in the background. Kelly at the front desk was a complete pleasure to work with. She answered all of our questions promptly and went above and beyond to help us and made sure our stay was amazing. We will be back!

great place close to Stowe.

Chad was an incredible host! He was extremely accommodating with any requests we had. The views from his place are breath-taking! We enjoyed snowshoeing from the backyard onto trails in the woods. I fell in love with his cat who visited daily! He kept the driveway plowed and salted in a timely fashion. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend his place!

PERFECT winter getaway! The location was amazing…our room had a wonderful view of the mountain, pool and hot tub. The resort itself was beautiful-great staff! Nice shops, excellent dining and bars! And, of course-snowboarding! Will definitely return! Can’t say enough about Stowe Mountain Resort! AWESOME!

Extremely nice cabin, very recently renovated. The owner has a keen eye for organization, everything is neatly placed where it should be. Linens are clean, beds were super comfortable. Amazing stay, thank you Cathy

Rebecca’s air bnb is awesome in a great location and she truly goes the extra mile for her visitors.

We love our stay. Kitchen was well stocked which made cooking easy. Bathrooms were spotless. Kids loved the games. TVs were huge and we enjoyed watching movies after a long day skiing. Very convenient to ski Stowe. The pool, hot tub and sauna at the community center were great!

We had an amazing stay, this trip far exceeded our expectations and staying in such a nice place made everything so much more enjoyable. This spot was the perfect mix of private and secluded while still also being very close to Stowe, and Johnson. We were able to complete everything on our itinerary while also being able to come back every night to a beautiful home with everything we needed. It was very nice to be able to sit down with family we havent seen in so long and enjoy an amazing home cooked meal or play some board games. Thank you Kristin for your amazing hospitality. This has made Vermont one our favorite states to visit. We will definitely be back.
