Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

Little ones are welcomed by a standard crib and kids will enjoy the upstairs lounge and secret reading nook. Enjoy the open living and dining areas, 3-season porch and patio with fire pit and patio heater (available seasonally). Detached garage available for a vehicle, bikes or kayaks. Beautiful, cozy space with abundant natural light! We designed this getaway with relaxation and comfort in mind! An upstairs apartment in downtown Decorah. The large living room has the comfort of an electric fireplace, TV, Wi-Fi and lots of natural light. A dining room that will seat 6, a galley kitchen and the comfort of the den with a sofa sleeper that makes into a queen bed and a glider rocker. The bedroom has a TV, queen size bed and much comfort. Bathroom is a full bath.
