Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Winneshiek County

The home was peaceful & comfy. Very clean!! My wife is a professional cleaner. She was very impressed. Beds were amazing!! It's like the mattress hugs you. Quiet location. Back patio was nice too. No complaints.

Great spot. Not far out of town and plenty of room. We had 4 adults, a baby and a dog and didn’t feel cramped at all! Elise was quick to respond with any questions we had. Would stay again.

Beautiful updated, cozy home. Fantastic kitchen and bathrooms. Very clean. Nice location, very peaceful setting in the woods. Many thoughtful touches that made us feel welcomed. House manager even left a nice note and homemade treat upon arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

The house met our expectations, and more. It was a very nice space for our extended family, including young children. We loved the location. Walkable to downtown, grocery store, and park. Would highly recommend it to others.

This was a very nice home to stay in with ample space! We loved it. We did not take advantage of the beautiful outdoor porch but can see hanging out there another time. I loved how close it was to Trout Run Trail. Without a question, I would recommend this sweet place. The host was super friendly and available. Charming place!

We have stayed at Dustin’s Airbnb multiple times and have always had a great experience. It’s consistently clean, comfortable, and in a quiet neighborhood. We will be back again next year!

The home was exactly what we needed to accommodate two family groups with bedrooms and bathrooms for both. The open kitchen, living room, dining room area was perfect for joint meals. The pretty view of the golf course, and fireplace made this a great spot to visit or relax. The kitchen had a wide variety of pans and cooking equipment for coffee, snacks or meals.

We really enjoyed our stay. The couch was a comfy spot to land after a day of shopping downtown and enjoying the breweries Decorah has to offer. I would recommend this place to a friend, and would happily stay there again.

Tammy made us feel right at home. The place was clean, quiet, and just what we were looking for. She was always quick to respond and we loved all of the animals around the property. We would definitely stay again!

A million dollar view for a great price! We enjoyed our overnight stay so much-especially the fire pit/gazebo area for a relaxing evening.

Wonderful place to stay right in the heart of Lanesboro. Right in downtown so we were able to walk to all the great restaurants and shops. Very spacious, open Airbnb. The decor style was lovely and it truly felt at home. Wonderful amenities at the home and loved that we had a washer and dryer especially after a day on the river. Will definitely recommend and look forward to staying again. Great price for a great spot, don’t pass this one up.

Norma Jean & Daryl are welcoming, kind hosts with an absolutely beautiful property! They were attentive to our safety as there was winter weather and helpful at every turn. My friend & I were celebrating a milestone birthday and had a perfect stay at their place.

Apartment matches the photos and was as described. Great location with easy access to great outdoors activities, food options and a quaint downtown just a few blocks away.

Thanks Evan and Kristen! We had a great stay during the Driftless yoga festival. Perfect location by the trail and walking distance to Will Baker Park. We loved having coffee in the back yard with the view of all the trees. Mama deer and fawn spotted on the lane coming back from dinner one night! Overall great stay!

A beautiful, serene place to stay! I wish we could have spent more time there. The cabins are lovely and in mint condition. Deb is an excellent host and cares about her guests. We loved it here and hope to come back and enjoy the amazing porch!

The Trout Creek Cabin was such a magical place! Nestled along a serene creek off a quiet country road about 20 min from Lanesboro, we loved our morning coffee on the deck enjoying the multitude of songbirds. The cabin was perfect for our anniversary weekend to escape the noise of people and fully relax in nature, but with comfy amenities and a glorious whirlpool under the stars! Suzette, Andrew, & Mindy thought of all the personal touches from a nice coffee/tea assortment, a bottle of wine, bathrobes, spongy slippers, little label signs - and much more! We loved the design and colors of the house throughout, and a lovely deck to take in all the nature! Day trips to Lanesboro were not a long drive as the countryside is spectacular, just takes about 20 mins. We hope to be back and maybe we’ll bring our son next time.

This was a relaxing stay with a beautiful cabin along the river. It was way from commotion, with the fun sand bottom swimming area for kids plus fishing in the river or canoeing down the river.

Great little cabin. You do get all of your money worth; from the moment you walk in, you have all you need. Place is well maintained and all the little gadgets you need when cooking away from home. There is a business next door to the patio off of the cabin and unfortunately, we could hear them working most of the day. If the patio would have had one more section of fence, it would have felt much more “private” But, I am overall satisfied and would rent from this family again!!

We enjoyed the secluded, private and peaceful space. Great property to enjoy with manicured trails, two ponds and convenient amenities. Close to Pikes peak state park, Backbone state park, effigy national monument and tons of playgrounds. The space is as described, and everything you need for a visit away. Would recommend and would stay again.

This is my third time staying at this property, first time at the Overlook cabin. Traci and her husband are excellent hosts! The cabin is one of the nicest air bnbs I have ever stayed in. Beautifully crafted, excellent views of the valley. Our group enjoyed fly fishing the local streams and hiking. This place is truly a gem. Highly recommend. Will be visiting again soon.

Beautiful cabin in private area. Very quiet and secluded. Lovely decor and well stocked with everything we could possibly need. Rick responded promptly to all communication.

Leslie’s home is comfortable and beautiful. The kitchen is large and well-equipped. The bathrooms are very clean and have beautiful touches—like the wood framed mirror on the main floor. The bedrooms are comfortable and have many unique features including lovely furnishings. But the most memorable part of this home is the surrounding grounds with ponds and trees and wildlife. The location is terrific since it is just off the bike trail and fishing streams and parks are nearby. The small towns surrounding it are interesting and people are friendly.
