Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Wilkes County

Laurel Mountain is a sanctuary! The setting is both wooded and pastoral, with stunning mountain views on one side and green pastures on the other. The lux cabin is spotless and beautifully appointed with thoughtful amenities like bath salts, blankets for chilly nights, etc. It’s perfect for a couple’s getaway or for a single person to retreat and rejuvenate. The location is a tad remote for some people and the roads are winding. But for us, that added to the ambiance. The host and her husband could not have been more responsive to the one small issue we had (which was that the pilot went out on the gas fireplace) and it was an easy fix. The cabin is located in Leatherwood Mountains resort and there’s riding and a nice restaurant on site. We highly recommend this cabin and hope to return again.

House and experience were 10/10. Porch wrapping around the home, combined with the fenced in back yard, makes it one of a kind. Host was a pleasure to do business with. Definitely coming back.

Terrific space, overall, and perfect for our needs. We arrived after dark but had no trouble finding the home or getting inside. Brenna’s thorough, thoughtful communication was greatly appreciated before our arrival and during our visit. We look forward to staying again in the future!

Spent three nights in this great home with three others while attending a music festival in Wilkesboro. It has four large bedrooms (as well as a four-bed bunkroom). Plenty of room to move around and spread out. The surrounding area is very quiet making for great sleeping at night. The house is very well equipped. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the bathrooms have plenty of clean towels. We would not hesitate to stay there again. Cara is a terrific manager and was always available to answer any questions. Highly recommended.

This cabin is just as described in the listing. The hot tub was such an added bonus to a mountain getaway! Connie was so responsive and has thought of everything to clearly communicate and be proactive for any questions you may have. This cabin is right between Boone and West Jefferson so lots of options or just hanging out at the house! The only advice I would give next guests would be to pick up paper products to minimize doing too many dishes because there is no dishwasher. Overall fantastic little getaway and I would book again! Our family had a great weekend getaway at this cabin. One of the most well stocked places I’ve stayed at. Plenty of toiletries, cookware, dishes, etc etc. The cabin was very clean at check-in. Easy to use wood-stove, with a wood shed stacked floor to ceiling with tons of wood already cut to use. Host was very responsive. My daughter especially loved the multi player arcade game upstairs. VERY private and secluded location…. Most cabins I’ve stayed at promise privacy and seclusion and end up being very misleading- this one is what it says it is. Plenty of extra blankets if needed, beds were very comfy. Hot tub was enjoyable, grill on the deck worked very well, I have zero complaints. We will probably be booking this place again. If you’re looking for a true getaway with actual privacy and seclusion, this is the place to stay.

We highly recommend this beautiful mountain home - incredible view of Stone Mountain, comfortable/clean rooms throughout, and well stocked in every way. The house is cute, the hot tub is a big plus. The home is smaller than I expected from the pics, which was fine - the only things that may need consideration for whatever type of group you're traveling with - the upstairs bedrooms share a wall. we could fairly clearly hear our friends talking at a normal pitch in the other room. - there's one bathroom upstairs & 1 downstairs, so each room "technically" has its own bathroom, but neither in the room Don't forget toiletries! we've apparently all gotten spoiled bc 1 person brought body wash & that's all we had. That's not a knock on the property - I don't think they listed that amenity, it's just so a relatively common one, so important to know. wilkesboro & west Jefferson are both about ~30ish min away, so location is great. trash drop off was easy. hosts were responsive, but we didn't really need anything, which is also a plus.

Perfect location! We have traveled a lot in the mountains of NC and this was definitely one of our favorites. Trails, streams, waterfalls within the community and close to Boone and Wilksboro. The home was very clean and well kept and the beds were comfortable. Highly recommend this property!

From the moment I booked "The Summit" Barbara, the owner, was available to answer any questions about local cuisine or how certain amenities worked. The responses were always ultra fast, clear and informative. She treated us as friends as opposed to feeling like a renter. The property was exactly as described and was decorated nicely and in squeaky clean condition. We chose "The Summit" for its solitude and tranquility and boy did it deliver. The Views....simply breathtaking. you have to experience it 1st hand to appreciate the serene beauty of western NC. From the mountains to the lakes to the daily excursions that lead us to try so many new adventures we couldn't have been happier with the host, the house or the location. Memories that will last a lifetime were made and will be cherished forever!

This is our second time staying at Banjo’s Cabin. We loved our stay. The hosts are very kind and understanding. We loved our stay how homey and peaceful it is here and would definitely recommend Banjos cabin to anyone looking for some peace& quite away from everything. It’s nice to sit out and listen to the creek in the morning drinking coffee. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you for sharing your home!

Three of us stayed at Heaven's Door Mountain Retreat in Moravian Falls, NC and had an amazing time! The wooded location and the cabin provided privacy, tranquility and much needed peaceful sleep. The cabin was immaculate, decorated beautifully, comfortable, spacious and yet very cozy offering all the modern amenities listed. We especially enjoyed coffee and tea on the front porch and reading /writing in the upstairs loft while listening to music from the Bose surround system which can be played inside and outside the cabin. The kitchen is lovely and provides all the necessities if one wants to cook. However, we choose to go to nearby local restaurants for dinner. Communication with our gracious and friendly hosts, Michael and Judy, made everything from booking the cabin to checking out hassle free. They provided many special thoughtful touches like a Welcoming Basket full of goodies. We definitely plan on coming back ! Thank you so much Michael and Judy for sharing your home!
