Vacation rentals with lake access in Wildwood

Fantastic place, clean and cozy. My daughter loved the dock and that there was a fishing pole for her to fish with.

We loved sitting on the screened porch morning and night. Very peaceful. Very comfortable for family. Good communication during stay. Heat and AC worked well. Very convenient location to Inverness. We arrived at night it was a little tricky to find but that's what made it so private. Maybe a blue reflector on the mailbox would help! Rowboat, kayacks, canoes, horseshoes, fishing gear, plenty of games for adults and children. A great time.

From morning coffee on the porch to evenings by the water, every moment was peaceful and easy. A perfect getaway with beautiful views, great hospitality, and all the comforts you could ask for. Can’t wait to come back! Don't miss the bonus AC'd bathroom on the porch! We almost did.

We had a beautiful weekend stay with trips to Silver Springs and lakes. Loved visiting J Birds Camp, just a paddle or walk away from the house, with a weekend of reggae music and delicious food trucks. Only downside of this stay is the furniture is not comfortable enough for a week long stay which is something I’d love in the future. Loved the Florida Cracker house and very well furnished with kayaks, canoes, etc.

Excellent house on a canal that leads to seven sister springs. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook multiple meals. We saw an alligator off the back dock our first day and lots of turtles and fish each day. The house is within close distance to lots of fun activities-we swam with manatees and floated the rainbow river while there. There are multiple kayak outfitters within walking distance of the house so if you do not like sit in kayaks you have very close rental options.

This was our second time staying at The Acorn. The house was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed...toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, coffee and tea supplies...so pleased that we didn't need to run to the store to get any of these items! Dan and Michelle are very quick to respond if we ever need anything. Had some issues with the internet and it was taken care of in a very timely manner. We love relaxing in the back yard and enjoying all of the wild life. The alligators won't bother you if you don't bother them! I absolutely recommend Dan and Michelle's beautifully decorated home to anyone who would like a relaxing, clean, and comfortable place to spend their vacation!

H&H Vacation rentals place was perfect. We stayed here once before and loved it so we came back. The house is really cool. Very clean, comfortable, and we had everything we needed and more. We definitely recommend staying at H&H Vacation rentals place.

Matt’s home is a great location with many local outdoor activities to partake in on. A private dock with kayaks was our best day out in the canals to experience countless birds and plant life on the water (not sure if I’m disappointed or relieved I didn’t see alligators😜). It was the perfect outdoor private getaway we were looking for. Matt was a great communicator!

We enjoyed the space. It was clean and just what we needed. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub too!

Jodi was always very responsive. We ended up having to do a late check in, and Jodi was very responsive. I was grateful that he allowed us to bring our dog to his home. The backyard is simply amazing. If you can, let him know in advanced the time of your check in and tell him about your A/C temperature preference, as the control is in his home. Even when we checked in late, he was attentive and accommodating in regards to this too.

Gary cozy apartment is a perfect way to put it! Spacious, clean, stocked, and in a great location. You just can’t beat the price! We’ll definitely stay again!

Very nice historical home to stay in. Felt like I was stepping back into time in a very comfortable setting. It’s very close and convenient to all the happenings down in Mt Dora and surrounding areas. I would highly recommend staying at Peter and Lisa’s home.

This was a great find! Clean and looked just like the pictures. Quiet and comfortable!

It’s a clean and modern apartment with an excellent view of the lake. William was attentive and kind. The apartment felt like home and had easy access to highways. I would definitely be staying here again, especially that I have family who live 4 mins away.

We needed a place to stay last minute and this place was perfect and exactly as described, quiet and a wonderful stay! Garry was very communicative and though we didn’t have any problems, Garry offered his help if we needed it. Thanks for a great stay!

We had an amazing 3 days at Sally's place! The house was clean and comfortable and we especially loved the use of kayaks right off the dock. We saw manatees right off the dock two of the days that we were there! We kayaked upstream toward the state park and downstream toward Rogers park every day. Sally recommended bug spray and that is for sure important! We cooked out one night on the charcoal grill, but there are also great restaurants nearby. It's a quick trip to the main road with all the stores you'll need. Sally was very communicative and responded right away to any questions that I had. We would stay here again!

Beautiful venue for my intimate wedding elopement. Alisha allowing me to take photos with the horses was a magical addition to my perfect big day. Lovely place to stay as always.

My stay was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, cozy, and everything I hoped for. The private lake was incredibly relaxing, perfect for unwinding and taking in nature. The cottage itself was amazing—well-kept, charming, and had such a welcoming, at-home feel. It was the perfect escape.

AMAZING. Great hosts, great place! I stayed here by myself and it was heaven on earth. I am a nature lover and this exceeded my expectations. The house & the property are stunning. The house is a lovely mix of tasteful tropical & Victorian decor. The outside is like being in the garden of Eden. So private & peaceful. I was able to meet manatees my first evening taking the kayak out; they were as interested in me as I was in them and came all around me and the baby came up to say hi. It was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had. It was just me and the manatees not another human in sight. The next morning I paddled out again and saw otters playing. I saw turtles, lizards, many beautiful birds, including green heron, great blue heron, and an owl. Coffee in the morning on the patio & a fire at night under the canopy of trees. Close to so much to do- springs, beach, nature parks, but by far the best was being able to paddle pretty much out the back door. I’m so glad I stayed here!!!

From when we got there to when we left, Jerome was nothing but kind and was incredibly responsive to anything we may need! Would recommend to anyone in the area!

Very peaceful. Loved sitting out on the dock listening to and watching all of the birds, turtles, frogs.

We stayed here with 10 women on a lady retreat it was perfect - all the amenities you could need and more with the kayaks and St John’s River and many springs nearby. Would definitely stay again!

I think our 4th or 5th stay at this location. We'll return. It's one of our Happy Places!!!
