We had a great time in Brenton on Sea. The house had all the required amenities for a self catering stay and it had lots of space and private bedrooms for a family with 2 teenagers. The Fisherman's walk was beautiful and we could walk safely stroll to the beach. Will definitely recommend!

Lovely bachelor type accommodation. Has everything you need. Beautiful setting and a quick drive into the village. The caretaker was pleasant and helpful.

We quickly settled in at Paradise. The house has everything one needs, felt peaceful and safe. Very close to the lagoon and also mosaic/slow roast for morning coffee walks. Hosts warm and friendly.

Had a fantastic stay. It was much bigger than we thought it would be. Great location, very central as a base to visit the surrounds and also very peaceful for a quiet getaway. Had everything we could need for a toddler as well, including a high chair. Only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. The homemade rusks and muffins were delicious!

From the moment we arrived, our stay at Hettie's home in Knysna Quays was nothing short of exceptional. It truly felt like a home away from home. The apartment was comfortable, welcoming, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is absolutely ideal — right in the heart of the Knysna Quays, with everything within easy walking distance. Shops, restaurants, and activities were just a few steps away, making our daily outings effortless and enjoyable. Hester was an outstanding host — warm, responsive, and always available to assist with any questions or recommendations. Her local guidance added a personal touch that made our experience even more memorable. We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Knysna. We cannot wait to return.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage is on a lovely small holding. We especially enjoyed the sunny patio and open space - perfect for walks and for our dog to run around.

This house was worth every penny, from the surroundings to the house itself, it met every expectation and more. The host is also extremely friendly so we were all happy about the experience. Highly recommended.

The place was awesome. We especially liked the inside parking, and all the restaurants and shops which were minutes from the flat.

We really enjoyed our stay here. lovely home, fully equipped with everything we needed. Everything is in good condition unlike other places we've rented. The best part was the location, a few steps to the nearest bridge to get into Thesen Town. We didn't drive at all when we stayed there. Also lovely to walk within the Thesen Estate in the evenings. Faith was incredibly friendly and thorough upon check in. We were very pleased with our stay.

This became our perfect home away from home! The coastal house was bright, spacious and well decorated. We made use of the washer and dryer after having been on the road for awhile so that was nice. Our children loved playing on the beach in front of the house for hours and we enjoyed the view and glass of wine on the large wrap around deck. There was a great outdoor shower to clean up and the host provided beach towels. The beds and furniture were all cozy and comfortable. There was an a/c unit in the main bedroom. There wasn’t one in the second bedroom but we didn’t need it, given the temp when we visited. They did have nice overhead fans in each room. The third bedroom was part of a separate unit over the garage which we didn’t end up using because our children were younger but it looked very nice. Thesen Island in itself was a gift. We ate at Ile De Pain for breakfast and had fresh oysters every day. We will definitely return back here in the future!

Brian was an awesome host, very friendly and quick to respond to any questions before arrival. Spacious, clean, everything you need when away from home. Most definitely worth it, will recomend this beautiful place.

lovely little cottage that is so beautifully decorated. The outside areas are so beautiful and there is a lovely water feature just outside the door which makes the whole area just feel so soothing and definitely not like in the middle of a big city! I was traveling through Knysna with a vehicle full of things as I am relocating and Lesley even made space in her garage so that I could safely park my car in it as the vehicle couldn't lock. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone! lovely accommodation and a super lovely host!

This is really a small house with all the things you need for a holiday in the mountains of Hoekwil. Walkable to the village centre. Nestled in the garden with a great sense of privacy and a view of the mountains through trees. We only spent a night on a stop-over, but I imagine it would be a great space for friends or a small family to hang out together.

The house was absolutely fabulous. We were 8 people and the house has plenty is space to comfortably accommodate all of us. It is also tastefully decorated. The neighborhood was completely safe and near many attractions including restaurants. We highly recommend the place and would not hesitate for one minute to book the place again. This was one of the best places I have ever rented on Airbnb. Thank you Kirsten

I can't wait to return. The serene farm stay was perfect for a family break from the city's hustle and bustle. There was a sprawling lawn for the kids to enjoy themselves, and the crate of bats/balls, etc., was put to good use. It is eye-opening to see what the city kids are missing. The hike to the river was amazing, and not once did the kids have a chance to even think of saying they were tired, as nature kept them guessing around every corner. Linda was amazing from the initial communication post-booking until after checkout. Genuine farm hospitality!

Lovely unit, very well and considerately stocked with milk, tea, coffee, etc. Comfiest couch ever! Highly recommended.

The villa is amazing and the people who are taking care of it is so nice especially Mrs.Amelia and her husband was so kindness. I totally recommend renting this place.

It exceeded our expectations. Absolutely beautiful. The unit was so neat, lovely and had everything we needed and more. There was lots to do and see. This was a lovely weekend away. Will definitely be returning soon!

Beautiful. The view from the deck was just breathtaking. the ( pool) snooker table and table tennis was a winner. Swimming pool stunning is stunning. It was just too cold for swimming. The bookshelf is amazing. Much to choose from
