Vacation rentals with lake access in Wijdemeren

Me and my family had a lovely time at Hannah’s place for New Year’s Eve. The house is located in an idilic part of the beautiful Loenen aan de Vetch. It’s a comfortable place with great facilities for family time: big dining area, sociable big kitchen, big sofa, beautiful features etc. We would love to come back in summer time!!! It must be heaven then! We didn’t met Hannah, but communication was great, really easy, quick and helpful… thank you Hannah!

It was a super lovely place to stay. I wish it was a little closer to the city center but I really loved the drive from the metro station, the fields were very beautiful and peaceful. It was really quiet out there and there Airbnb was gorgeous.

We had a lovely family reunion here with 6 adults and 2 kids. The weather didn't cooperate but the place was perfect and exactly as expected! Saskia was a lovely host- super responsive & friendly. The kitchen was great; we cooked most of the meals ourselves and enjoyed the long dining table and plenty of dishes & silverware to accommodate everyone. The beds and rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. And the location really is very central, especially since we have family in Utrecht. I can highly recommend staying here; exactly as in the listing in terms of rooms/looks etc. The only note is that it is not at all actually in South-Amsterdam, and I still really can't figure out why the listing says that. It is a great location, very central, but not South Amsterdam and you definitely need a car to get anywhere. Would love to come again in the summer! It must be magical when the weather is nice and nature is in full swing on the river in the yard. Thanks for such a great stay, Saskia!

Very nice and quiet place. More than enough room for our family of five. About half an hour from Amsterdam. Having a car is a must. All in all, we had a great time.

Een fantastische plek, uniek aan de plas. Sfeervol en van alle gemakken voorzien. Met een uitstekende gastheer.

Wir hatten einen kurzen, sehr schönen Silvesteraufenthalt bei Gerard mit tollem Blick auf das Feuerwerk überm Wasser. Die Wohnung ist modern und schön eingerichtet und verfügt über einen großen Ess- und Wohnbereich. Insbesondere die Küche ist mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Gerard hat auf Rückfragen schnell und hilfreich reagiert. Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen!

A barátaimmal érkeztünk, tisztának és jól felszereltnek találtuk a szállást. J gyors válaszadó, a szállás átvétele zökkenőmentes volt. A környék nagyon szép, tipikus békés, nyugodt kis holland város. Igaz inkább Amszterdamban tartózkodtunk többet, de jó volt ide minden nap végén visszatérni és pihenni.

Was a very enjoyable stay at this property, location was perfect, host was very good at communicating and making me feel welcome. Also was very understanding In regards to checking out on the final day, would recommend to anyone looking for a welcoming trip in a stunning location!

Peggy was incredibly kind and accommodating throughout the entire process, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The apartment was very well equipped and had a beautiful view, making it a truly memorable stay. I would highly recommend it!

Das Hafenkontoor war einfach zu finden, der Check-in war einfach problemlos. Das Appartement entsprach vollständig der Beschreibung. das Highlight ist der Ausblick auf den Loosdrechter Ser. Der Supermarkt auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite macht dein Einkauf sehr leicht. Die zentrale Lage ( ca. 10 Minuten zur Autobahn) ermöglichen eine schnelle Erreichbarkeit der Sehenswürdigkeiten. werden gerne mal wieder vorbeischauen. LG Christoph

I had a hassle-free stay at this Airbnb. Jan was friendly, responsive, and met us in person to hand over the keys and answer any questions, which I appreciated. It is a small, basic apartment that met our needs and was clean and orderly. It’s a simple, functional space—ideal for travelers prioritizing cleanliness and quiet over luxury. The kitchen was compact but stocked with the basic essentials. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and fully operational. While the location is outside the city center, public transportation is easily accessible, and the neighborhood feels safe and peaceful. No frills, but no issues either.

Robin war immer gut zu erreichen. Außerdem war die Unterkunft wie beschrieben und wie auf den Fotos. Die Öffnung und das Abschließen der Tür ging auch immer einwandfrei. Die Tram war gut zu fuß zu erreichen und man war wie beschrieben, in knapp 25 Minuten in dem Centrum von Amsterdam. Die Aussicht aufs Wasser war auch super toll. Alles in allem war es ein toller Aufenthalt. Immer wieder gerne! ☺️🫶🏻

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La vue est magnifique et le logement très propre Saskia et son mari sont très accueillants et encore merci pour toutes ses petites attentions pour nous comme pour nos chiens

What an amazing place to stay it with kids, there was so much space around the lodge which all felt really safe to let them explore different activities. There was a quite a few groups there but it was never noisy or overcrowded. The lodges were really cool and different to what we stayed in previously, it did go a little cold one of the nights we were there but they were still comfortable and nice (you can rent heaters if needed). We would 100% come back in the future if we travel that way again. We went for a trip to Amsterdam which was easy to get to and Sprookjeswonderland which I would recommend too with children under 6/7

Mes trois enfants et moi avons passé un excellent séjour dans la belle petite maison de Noor et Mat. Tout était conforme à la description et la communication avec les hôtes était très facile et rapide. Le logement se trouve près d'un lac. La proximité de l'eau est très apaisante et l'environnement est très agréable. C'est un endroit idéal pour se reposer, faire du vélo ou des promenades et un bon point de départ pour la visite de villes comme Gouda, Utrecht, Rotterdam ou Amsterdam. Nous recommandons ce logement.

Would highly recommend this house in Nijkerk. The house itself is lovely and very comfortable. Check-in was very easy and Edgar was very responsive to the one issue we had and it was resolved incredibly quickly. The e-bikes that are available for your use are brilliant and we made good use of them cycling to the local town etc. The park is lovely and very quiet. We really enjoyed the pool. Nijkerk is a lovely town with plenty shops and restaurants. There is also a fantastic restaurant across the road from the park if you want to treat yourself to a gourmet lunch/dinner. It is called Het Sluishuys. This is a great place to base yourself to go to amersfoort and utrect which are very close by car.

Coup de cœur pour Edam, le lieu est incroyable, tellement beau , paisible et à la fois si proche de tout ! La maison de Nicolas est très jolie et fidèle à la description, on s y est sentit très vite bien. Nous avons été accueilli par Nicolas qui est un hôte très amical . Nous avons trouvé les gens en Hollande d une gentillesse incroyable . Nous avons visité surtout Amsterdam pendant ses 3 jours mais en réalité il y a tellement à voir qu on compte bien y retourner. La gare routière est réellement à une minute à pied et on peut aller sur Amsterdam direct en 20 min . On ne peut pas régler les tickets de bus ,tram en espèces il faut que les adultes et chacun leur carte bleue ce qui nous a un peu déconcerté au départ. Après les journées de marches intensives arriver sur Edam le soir dans la maison de Nicolas boire un verre dans la cour près du canal était très très agréable.

we hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. annemieke was erg gastvrij en zeer vriendelijk en attend. accomodatie was heerlijk en we hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad direct aan het water. we komen zeker weer terug.

Such a lovely place to say in a peaceful, friendly village with swimming canal ,all within easy to navigate public transport to central Amsterdam. We had a fantastic time, our host Lonneke was helpful and very friendly. The cottage was very clean and as described. I would recommend staying here.

Angelique war eine gute und freundliche Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns gleich auf der Straße in Empfang genommen, so dass wir nicht weiter nach der Unterkunft suchen mussten. Das Häuschen ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Lage am Wasser ist wirklich gut. Man hat hier seine Privatsphäre. Auch über die bereit gestellten Lebensmittel haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit.

Mechteld und Remco haben uns wunderbar in der Unterkunft empfangen und uns mit dem Boot abgeholt. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt für einen ruhigen und vor allem entspannten Urlaub am See. Das Haus ist nur mit dem Boot zu erreichen. Wir waren zu viert unterwegs und hatten alle genug Platz in dem Haus. Wir durften alles nutzen was der Schuppen anzubieten hatte und waren jeden Tag mit Boot fahren, SUPs fahren oder schwimmen beschäftigt. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt dort und haben die Tage auf der Terrasse sehr genossen. Außerdem sind Tagesausflüge nach Amsterdam oder Utrecht sehr empfehlenswert, da es nie mehr als 30min mit dem Auto entfernt liegt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
