Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Wicomico County

I will 100% stay again. The house was well maintained, clean, and had all the needed amenities. John was a great host and he responded promptly. I had a great time and will be back!

We booked this as my father was in failing health. When he passed we asked for an extension and Kim graciously helped us out and we stayed through the funeral.

If you are looking for a place to stay that is peaceful, beautiful, and an outdoorsman’s dream…. this is it! My family of 10 stayed here comfortably and enjoyed every minute. It was a little chilly to enjoy all of the amenities, but we had a great time fishing and exploring the property. Patrick was extremely responsive and helpful. We would definitely go back.

This is the 2nd time my colleagues and I have stayed at Mircea's. She is extremely responsive, kind and helpful. Goes out of her way to make sure you're comfortable and have everything you need. Her place is immaculate, modern and feels comfortable from the moment you enter. Was another great stay and if we head back to the area will definitely book again!

We stayed for a week over Thanksgiving 2024. Keith and his wife were there to meet us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the house. Very nice people. It's an older house, but it's in good shape. We felt at home once we unpacked. The beds are VERY comfortable--we slept great. Good internet connection. No troubles with any fixtures or equipment. One bathroom is quite small, but we made it work. Convenient to restaurants and shopping--there's a Texas Roadhouse, a Chinese restaurant and a Walmart across the street, a grocery store one stoplight away. Also convenient for us because family lives in Fruitland within a 5 minute drive. The house is on a main road, but we never had trouble making left turns out of the driveway. Turn right and you're a few minutes from the bypass, turn left and you're a block from the main business route through Fruitland and Salisbury. It was a good place to stay.

Interior was immediately inviting: well designed, spacious, gleaming. Exterior rustic. Lots of parking. On short quiet woodland road without through traffic, yet all major stores (food, department, hardware, gas, etc.) are seven minutes away. Our grandkids enjoyed the yard and duck pond.

I had an amazing stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was friendly and responsive, making sure everything was perfect. I would definitely stay here again — highly recommend!

Alex place was all my family and I could ask for! I could tell that a lot of thought and planning went into making his place pleasant for all. We really appreciate the attention to details and providing us with the smallest of things necessary for us to never want to leave. Alex was pleasant and communicative the whole stay. I can’t sing his praises enough! You will not regret booking this place.
