Vacation rentals in Whitsbury

Char was an excellent hostess, she went above and beyond to help us. We loved her little architect designed home. It was very comfortable and peaceful with lovely countryside views, including her friendly pony in his field. There is a nice patio to sit and relax on, unfortunately it rained a lot while we were there so we didn’t use it. But the sitting room is very comfy and the floor to ceiling windows make it lovely and light. It faces west so gets the afternoon sun. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathroom is quite large and the shower works well. The bedroom has a large comfortable double bed, with crisp linen bedding, and big light windows but with full curtains for the night. Char was always on hand for advice and help, but not intrusive. It was open studios week, and we enjoyed being able to walk to quite a few. The common is just up the road and the local pub has delicious food.

We had a really great weekend. The house is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The pub next door serves lovely food and there are great New Forest walks a short drive away. Communication was timely and friendly. We'd love to stay again in future!

Booked my parents a weekend stay at Fay’s stables and they had a lovely time. Lots of choices for food around and endless scenic walks. The stables was clean and had plenty of room for the 2 dogs with a fenced in outside area for them to wander. Homemade brownies were a lovely touch and can confirm they went down a treat! Fay provided great instructions for check-in and to find the place and nothing went wrong. If anything did they were able to contact Fay and a response would be very quick! Thank you Fay, they had a great time.

We had a lovely couple of nights at Alices place! We met the lovely dog lilly too who was so sweet! It really was a great place stay if you want to split your time around the new forest, stonehenge etc!

As a writer, needing peace and quiet, this was the perfect place for me. Chloe was super friendly. The accommodation was full of character and light, with everything I could possibly need. It was a bonus to have an excellent shop and a friendly pub in close walking distance as well as some lovely walks. I would definitely recommend this for a getaway!

Lovely self contained apartment located in very rural and peaceful location but easy to find. Within walking distance of Fordingbridge using public footpaths. Kitchen well equipped and very good shower in bathroom. Bed was comfortable and nice fresh clean linen. Plenty of parking space. Downside was people living in rooms above and little, if any, sound proofing so able to hear much of what they were saying. However, it seems they were in bed reasonably early so did not disturb the night.

Tom was a great host! His property is beautiful in a lovely setting we spent nye here for a quiet one with the dogs and had the best time. Was very comfortable and felt very homely. Record player was so cute & was very cosy. Pub across the road really lovely food too! Shame the weather was so bad as we would’ve loved to walk more around the new forest but we will return! Tom communicated quickly and was super friendly. Thank you for having us! X

Easy five stars for adventurous people! A wood stove burning in a cozy yurt, who needs more? Beautiful views from the table outside. Be aware that the showers are awesome but they're across the other side of the field. We had a beautiful day and the entire field to ourselves (in April) so the morning walk to the shower in pijamas was a big plus!
