Vacation rentals in Whitestone

Mallory and Michael were helpful and responsive, adding some extra touches, like a map of the lake and helpful tips to make our stay wonderful! The cottage was a perfect combination of cozy and spacious and had everything we needed. Amenities were close by if we needed anything. The docks were exactly what we were hoping for. We enjoyed our days lake side on the docks swimming and boating. Our evenings were spent by the fire pit or gathered around the large kitchen table for a game of cards. The outdoor seating area was peaceful and relaxing. Our family has been lucky enough to stay at many cottages over the years - and this one stands out as one of the best!! We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at WestWind Cottages! The Cottages were immaculately clean and well-maintained, with fully-equipped kitchens and comfortable bedrooms. We loved the private patio areas, perfect for relaxing with family and friends. Beeka and Chris were friendly, accommodating and excellent with communicating. Overall, our stay at WestWind Cottages was a relaxing and rejuvenating escape from the city. We can't wait to return and experience it again! (5/5 stars)

Went with my wife and I and five kids. We had a perfect week of weather in September and after the first day on the beach, my kids were saying this was our best cottage ever! Looking out at our children on the beach from the big windows on the cottage, the place took on an almost magical quality. We had to drag our kids from the water every day. Lots of toys, games, life jackets, boats outside and fully stocked in the cottage. And the setting with all the islands out front is a classic Muskoka look, without all the business of that area. Well where do I even Start, Claude & Brenda were simply Amazing friendly hosts, They absolutely went above and beyond to make our stay incredible! They made us feel extremely comfortable and took us out all together on an AWESOME ATV trail ride, which was the big highlight of our trip.... Shawn & I cannot thank you both enough for this wonderful relaxing fun weekend! I highly recommend Claude & Brenda's cozy beautiful bunkie!!! I would give it 10 stars If I could, You definitely won't be disappointed. Shawn and I felt right at home and made some even better friends along the way! Again - We simply cannot thank you guys enough! We will 100 % Be back soon in the fall time, we hope!!! Seriously ..... Don't miss out on this amazing little piece of heaven!

Staying at Jesse's family cottage was an absolute delight. Its easy to locate, it has an amazing view of the lake and everything you need to cook inside and outside. I loved the clear water, the island you can swim to, the kayak and really just everything! The only thing I was not prepared for was how close together the neighbouring cottages are. However, we lucked out and it was empty on both sides of us so it was no issue at all. It was awesome that there were enough chairs for everyone and everything was really clean. Beware if you plan to attend in the summer and the forecast is cold in the night! It was challenging to heat the cottage and the first night we were quite cold and would have benefitting from throwing one or two extra blankets in the car. Other than that, absolutely a 5 star stay! Thanks Jesse for responding so quickly and for your flexibility on our last minute guests.

The cottage is clean, big, and has all amenities you could need, even a yoga mat and older indoor cycle bike, which was not expected. We had 6 people and 5 dogs and felt like the cottage had more than enough space and privacy for us. The kayaks, canoe, and paddle board were nice to use on the quiet lake. The lakefront is open, but consists of a lot of lily pads, so it wasn’t as swimmer friendly. There is a ladder off the dock though where there are no lily pads, which is better for swimming. The cottage is very private and tucked in thick bush, so the bugs are really bad. We were disappointed with the lack of yard maintenance for the price we paid, but that was really the only downfall. Ali had great communication and was very understanding when learning that we accidentally broke the paddle board paddle. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

About the host - Jeff is a great! Very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. He took time out of his long weekend to take us on a tour of the lake and to Deadman's Drop so our kids can jump. Location & Lake Great little gem. Water is clean , no weeds out front of dock which make water sports very enjoyable. Lots of toys to use - paddles, kayaks, canoes, tin boat. Cottage Four decent sized bedrooms - one facing back of cottage with lake view. Other two are at front of cottage. One additional bedroom in basement with two sets of bunk beds - if you're travelling with younger kids keep this in mind. Although a great space for teens! Walkout to dock from basement too with an additional refrigerator - perfect for accessing while enjoying the lake. Great dinner seating area for large groups. Bathroom is huge. And laundry facilities are a great addition. Best of all are the sunsets. This is a great place to enjoy with family & friends. Thanks Jeff!

Awesome find & place to stay with family. very well stocked and they let you use most of the items, very responsive and accurate with their description & directions. Must visit and we highly recommend it. Will definitely love to plan another stay here! Hats off Sabrina
