I cannot recommend Gillian’s beautiful home highly enough, my partner and I booked it as a very last minute trip for new year with our two kids and it was just brilliant. Even in the typical Scottish weather the views were lovely and when the sun was shining it was stunning. The home has everything in it that you could possibly need and is so cosy and beautifully decorated. The beds were so comfortable and there was plenty of storage. The kitchen was really well equipped and was spacious enough to cook as well as being a social area. We decided to book again as soon as we’d arrived! Thank you Gillian x

A beautiful location with endless views of the estuary and surroundings - quiet and tranquil, with some buzz in the late afternoon to evening. Lovely home, and very clean and comfortable. Will definetely be back again in the near future. Gemma is very accommodating and helped us with flexible check in and additional days, which was great.

We had such a lovely few days at the cottage over the Easter holiday. The house is situated really well and was easy to find, with parking really close by. When we arrived the house was absolutely spotless and had everything we required - it felt like a real home from home. Except our house doesn’t have an amazing jacuzzi in the back garden! The jacuzzi was a big hit with us all and we felt like we had really good use of it in the rain, as it is well covered and the sunshine too. Martin was a really responsive and helpful host and all the instructions he sent were easy to follow, his wife was also kind enough to pop round to show us how to work the jacuzzi (very easy!). We had a great time at Eden Cottage and would definitely recommend.

Jack's place was absolutely ideal for what I needed. space for the dog to be left when it wasn't possible to take him with me. I will definitely book again in the near future. It could just be doing with a better clean and the stuff left in cupboards is a bit lax, but other than that very comfy bed, and definitely served it's purpose!!

We spent a family Easter in this lovely house. Great spot, comfortable for a family with young children, beautiful area with lots to do nearby. The house is well appointed and cosy. It’s quiet and has a lovely garden with birdfeeder and lots of chairs in sunny spots. Highly recommend!

Lovely, spotless, brand new caravan. Steps from the water (beach and nature preserve) and 30 minutes into the Lake District make it a wonderful place to stay and explore Cumbria. The cabin was simply but tastefully decorated and comfortable for a family of four and our furry friend. It has all you need for a comfortable break, there are washer/dryer machines at the site and they worked great. We didn't try the local restaurant but heard good things. We had a wonderful time despite the darker evenings and cool days, we felt very cozy and comfortable after our days exploring. We were able to get most of what we needed in Millom (a mile away) and cooked most nights. The area has lots to do within an hours drive, you really are spoiled for choice. The cabin's wifi is spotty to stay the least but we were happy to "unplug" for a few days.
