Family-friendly vacation rentals in Whitefish

Awesome place and you can easily ski in and ski out. The hot tub is a nice amenity and enjoyable after skiing. The space worked out very well for our group of 7.

Several friends and I stayed here on a Whitefish ski trip, and the condo was perfect for us. It was clean, cozy, the view from the deck was stunning, the kitchen and bathrooms were pristine, and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our nights out in Whitefish and spent the days skiing, so we didn’t have a chance to take advantage of the hot tub/sauna, but the wood stove and the steam shower in the master bathroom were delightful, and great after a day on the slopes. The location could not be better to access both the town and the mountain, and the condo is well-stocked. We’d definitely stay again!

Had a fantastic time here with five friends skiing over a long weekend. The house is marvelously equipped for a ski vacation with the hot tub, boot warmers, ski access, etc. The living room view of the slopes is great, the Sonos and TV are easy to use, the kitchen well equipped. Zero gripes, no notes, strongly recommend!

We absolutely loved staying at Honey’s Place and guess who met us first as we arrived? None other than Honey! We immediately felt like this was gonna be a great week. This was our first time to Montana and yes we are a little crazy for coming in the winter but we wanted to experience the beauty and rawness of winter in Montana along with the beautiful snow covered mountains all around us. Honey’s Place was perfect for our daily excursions to Glacier National Park, Big Fork, Symes Hot Springs and Whitefish. We loved chillin in the hot tub and the peacefulness of our location. We don’t like to be crowded and this was just right. Loved watching the dogs frolic in the snow and they would greet us every single time we returned. Petting the pony and lambs was an added bonus. Steve always an amazing host although we thought they were crazy to be going white water rafting the day we were headed up to the snow covered mountains. He said it’s only cold if you fall in. Haha! Perfect trip!

Enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home. We especially enjoyed the expansive deck, fire pit and hot tub. Great for stargazing! Nicely appointed and a great location.

Melissa's location in Columbia Falls was ideal, situated between White Fish and West Glacier. We loved the neighborhood and the community vibe. We had absolutely everything we needed. Melissa even had bear spray, maps, and books about Glacier for our use. The place was clean and inviting. Communication was easy. Loved the hot tub. Great value. No complaints.

The house was even more beautiful than it looked in the pictures! It was very homey and there were all kinds of thoughtful touches. My nephew is about 6 months old and there were so many toys and things for him to play with. With all 7 of us, there was room to spare. A great place for a larger group!

We loved staying in this home. Even though the owners live upstairs, we had complete privacy. It was so peaceful and cozy! Mari, the manager of the home, was so responsive and helpful. The home feels so remote but it was only about 5 minutes into downtown Whitefish.

Great spot in Kalispell, close to everything but super quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Easy to get to skiing in the winter or glacier in the summer. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout as well and Susan is super responsive. I would highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Christie's place. Our trip was all about Glacier National Park and we were equally close to the park and to grocery shopping nearby. We cooked all of our meals at Christie's and appreciated the well stocked kitchen--a good variety of prep and cooking tools and a well stocked pantry of spices and oils. The place itself was spacious, but still cozy and the outdoor space was very private. The beds and linens were super comfy! Lucy definitely welcomed us being around and came to visit a few times, which we enjoyed. She is a big sweetie. Christie recommend a local butcher (excellent and fair priced selections!) and I guess Lucy just couldn't resist the alure of the amazing rib-eye we grilled. Ooops....we sneaked her a few bites. Both Doug and Christie were friendly and very welcoming and at the same time respected our vacation time privacy. We would definitely stay again if we are lucky enough to find ourselves back in the area!

This might be one of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed at! You can tell Dawn has exceptional attention to detail and went the extra mile to make sure her home had everything we could need. We loved having a true ski in/out lodging and the hot tub next to the slope was an extra treat! The beds were comfortable and everything worked as expected. The 5 of us had plenty of room to gather and also felt like we had our own space. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with quality products and ingredients. No notes! We'll be back!

Super welcoming home! Exterior and interior were really cute. House is within walking distance to everything in downtown Whitefish. The bedrooms were very comfortable. It was just my sister and I, but we utilized the pull-out couch for a movie night. Bathroom had plenty of clean towels, TP, and a blow dryer. Kitchen is fairly stocked. We looked for unique utensils like a zester and juicer, fully understanding that it’s not something anyone would have readily available. Didn’t change my experience with renting this house at all. I will absolutely look for availability this summer. I’d give it 10 out of 5 stars if I could.

Simply put, this place is absolutely amazing. If you’re looking for a quiet place off the grid and within just a few minutes of West Glacier and the National Park, look no further. The house was clean and cozy, had everything we needed to make meals each evening, amazing views all around and super quiet. Will definitely be looking to book here again in the future.

This home was absolutely breathtaking. We loved every part of this home. It was worth every penny we spent and we will definitely come back . The home sleeps 6 people comfortably. We recommend this home. Very quiet and peaceful setting.

We had a great stay at this cozy, pet-friendly spot! The home was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was friendly and responsive, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

I would recommend this property to everyone, was very clean, kitchen was well stocked, so much to do or just relax. Was very thankful for the generator as we lost power one afternoon for about an hour. Only down side was difficult to find as there was no house #, but would definitely stay again!!

Great location close to the west entrance to the park! Enjoyed the privacy of the property - couldn't see any neighbors or the road from the cabin. There is a train track across the street, which could be heard when trains passed by. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the quick responses by the hosts to questions! The recommendations in the area (hikes, restaurants, bars, etc) were wonderful! Very happy with our stay!

Beautiful location right in the heart of the swan river/ bigfork area. Everything was within a 5-30 minute drive. I loved how private and quiet the location was with a beautiful view of the mountains right ahead. I even enjoyed the unique home itself. Very clean and cozy. Everything is right there for you. This place was such a a perfect location for adventuring around Glacier. A quick drive to the park, to restaurants in surrounding towns, to Whitefish, Big Fork, and the airport. The cabin was cozy and very clean, supplied with all the necessities for a comfortable, relaxing stay. We appreciated the local recommendations for coffee and restaurants and quick responses with any questions. The only thing I would recommend is to not walk around the neighborhood - within a few blocks we were in a very run-down block and there were a few angry, untethered dogs, one of which attacked. Don't be too trusting of the mountains to think a stroll around the block is just like home. Outside of that- our stay here was wonderful and Jennilee is a fantastic host who has thought of it all! Thank you!
