Loughshore home from home

Enjoy the space inside and the great location outside! The house is in Whiteabbey village. Within a short stroll there are several restaurants, shops and bars, not to mention Belfast lough! There are beautiful walks or bike rides on your doorstep, either along the shore towards Belfast, or the forest walk at Newtownabbey way. Belfast city is a short drive away - 15 minutes by car, or just a few stops away by train. The house itself is spacious and I hope it feels like home from home!

Check in was very smooth with a private entrance and key lockbox. We appreciated having a microwave, fridge, milk, tea and coffee for our use. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom spacious and very clean. The accomodation was close to the city for sightseeing and restaurants the next day. Good value and an enjoyable stay thank you David.

Cynthia’s place is value for money, she is very friendly, kind, quick to respond and solve any issues. She is a busy working lady and the house is mostly quiet. I had a good size ensuit room, with Kettle, microwave, very mini fridge, electric blanket. I had the view of Black Mountain, beautiful! 20 minutes bus ride to the city. I enjoyed my stay and I will come back again. Thank You.

When you book a room in a host’s house you don’t expect to get a space that is 10 metres long with a big window by the door opening out to a great garden and another down the end with a pastural vista. Add a comfortable bed, a big wardrobe and an arm chair and plenty space in between and the result is excellent ambience and great value for the price. The bathroom is all state of the art and also very spacious. Across from both rooms is a sitting room with sea views. Extra thick carpet makes this space perfect for yoga. Host Michele directed us to a local restaurant which turned out to be a great choice. Thank you Michele. We recommend highly!
