Immaculate lil getaway. A place to die for! You wouldn’t believe how happy my little ones were when arrived. This beautiful spot was one of those place’s we did NOT want to leave. It was super cosy, refreshing and peaceful. The views are absolute perfection to take in, watching the sun set and rise was a definite highlight. I loved the layout and it felt exactly like a home away from home. There are no other words to express how thrilled my family and I were with our stay. Honestly wished we had extended it, but we know for sure we will be back. Thank you so much for being a wonderful host Anne, until next time!

Amazing beachfront view. House was well furnished and clean. Instructions were clear, not a problem checking in. Everything you might need is provided. Awesome stay! Would recommend!

This was one of the best stays and experiences I've had at an Airbnb, Melissa is very responsive, the home is beautiful and exactly as described. As a family we so enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoy our stay here, it felt like a home away from home. This place was exactly what we were after, very peaceful and relaxing. The views were out of this world! Would definitely be back, thank you to the hosts for making us feel right at home.

Perfect place, easy relaxing atmosphere

Couldn't recommend the cottage enough! Our family had a peaceful and relaxing vacation despite rain nearly everyday. We had all of the amenities needed to cook and entertain ourselves, and appreciated the thoughtfulness of Karen in sharing some toys for our 4-year old to play with while visiting. We had a rental car and found it a great location to go on day trips to the cape, the sand dunes, glow work caves, nearby beaches, and the bay of islands. We even stayed local a few days and really enjoyed walking the groves and local area down the road. The space heater and headed blankets were a welcome touch for the colder days. There were a few power outages, but they didn't last long and they were quick to check in with us and provide some flashlights in the interim. Would happily stay there again!

The whole family enjoyed our stay. The cottage is actually much more spacious than the west the photos show. We were in town for a sports event and the kids got a good nights sleep before their race. It had everything we needed. Hannah was very responsive and flexible with our requirements. Overall we were very happy and would stay again.

Was a very great place to stay and had extremely accommodating hosts! Would recommend this place to anyone I know without hesitation! A++

Second time I’ve stayed at Hayley’s. Easy to access, peaceful, clean, tidy and has thoughtful touches that make the stay pleasant and comfortable.

A lovely place! I had been experiencing some stress recently, so this was a great place to come to unwind. I thrashed it out on the nearby Mt Manaia- handy being in the area! Recommended. Plus shops etc not to far away by car. Comfy bed, clean, and just generally awesome. I should have read the place name properly/ used my common sense....couldn't go kayaking because of the tide (was low in the late afternoon and morning)- my fault for not figuring that out!! Just have to come back then 😉 Thanks guys, awesome place.

Great value for money in a good location. We didn't have the best weather so the Scrabble and Netflix came in handy. Lovely big clean bathroom and well equipped kitchen, it was just unfortunate the dishwasher was broken while we were there but it wasn't a biggie. Would recommend as a central location for day-tripping in the region.

Lil welcomed us on arrival and showed us the amenities and the wifi password. The beds were neatly made as well as the sofa bed. Lil recommended a couple of walks that we could do and it was as awesome as she described, when we hiked to Smugglers Bay the next day. A faulty light bulb in the main bedroom was promptly replaced. The place was very clean and we had access to everything that we needed. We enjoyed our stay and we felt right at home and welcome. Highly recommended and we will definitely stay there when we are in the region again.

Leanne was a wonderful host; excellent with communication and very helpful. The accomodation has a stunning view and is beautifully kept - comfortable, clean and just right for our stay (a two-nighter). The location was excellent; close to the city which has wonderful restaurants - of note The Quay. Highly recommended.

Second time I have stayed here. A nice relaxing place in the country. Perfect for a get away. Having a washing machine and dryer is always a bonus. Chocolates on arrival, a welcome treat. I found the bed perfect for my liking. Will be back again, as good location for day trips up to Bay of Islands and other surrounding areas.

Mark & Leone were great hosts --- very responsive, accommodating and helpful. Check-in process was simple and with clear instructions. The studio apartment was clean, comfortable, quiet and private, with amazing views and an almost private beach on the doorstep ----- a simple and wonderful place to relax!

Very friendly, very tidy well looked after property

The most serene beautiful location. Felt like a million miles from anywhere but best brekkie and coffee just steps from the door and a general store a couple of minutes away with everything you could need. Bed to die for, luxury linens and towels. Possibly the cleanest place EVER. thank you gavin, a perfect stay in a beautiful location.

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.

Fabulous hosts, lovely accommodation. We stayed for three nights, and all loved it including our puppy. If we didn't have to be back home for things, we would've extended our stay by a couple more nights. I'm sure we will be back again though. Thanks for the lovely stay
