Welcome to my secluded, peaceful hideaway. The studio is a large open plan space. Large sliding doors completely open up the front of the building onto the deck, giving you a feeling of always being close to nature. Surrounded by trees, orchard, lawn and garden, the studio is a quiet retreat space. The sound of the sea and bird song are always in the background. It's 50m from our house and well hidden by trees, so you'll feel very private. The best beach in NZ is a 15 minute walk away!

My place is close to beaches, bush and the famous Motu cycle way. You’ll love my place because of the friendly welcome, the little extras AND the comfy bed!! Only 2 hours driving from either Tauranga, Rotorua or Gisborne - a good resting point. Lovely quiet cottage set on lifestyle block with many chickens and sheep. 3 minutes driving to fabulous Waiotahi beach and only 10 minutes into Opotiki for cafes and shopping. Char was very communicative and easy to deal with. We were in town for a funeral and had exactly the number of beds we needed: three double bedrooms and a twin. The house itself is beautiful—elegantly laid out, functional, and high quality. There's a nice yard where the little one could run around, and a lovely deck to sit on with a glass of wine. All in all, a really nice experience. We'd definitely want to stay here again.

My 2-year-old daughter and I stayed at Denys’s beautiful unit, and it’s safe to say I will no longer be looking for any other accommodation when we visit Ohope Beach ! The unit was very clean, with everything you need inside. The bed is super comfortable and has plenty of blankets for the cooler nights. But overall my favourite part was the view ! Waking up to a gorgeous sunlight beaming in, and watching people surf amongst the waves. We loved our stay so very much, and we will be back again :)
