The Nest

JuliaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Everything about The Nest was perfect! Little touches like salt and pepper, spices, toiletries, beach towels and milk etc made it so easy. It is so peaceful and relaxing and sitting on the terrace watching the sunset was the best part of the day! Having two bathrooms is a real plus! The beds are very comfortable and the linen is lush! The outside space is beautifully kept and there are plenty of spaces to sit and relax. Although it is on a working farm we were never disturbed except for the occasional noisy sheep 🐑 and the plentiful bird life 🐦‍⬛🦉 I would highly recommend staying here for the peace and quiet! We found that Modbury was a great location to venture out from and the stunning coastline was not too far away. We could not think of anything that Felicity hasn’t already thought of and we would be really happy to stay again. A wonderful five days at ‘The Nest’ Thank you Felicity

Unique vacation cottage

JohnRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is very far from the usual holiday home. There were lashings of hot water, the kitchen knives were properly sharp, there were more bathrooms than we needed and there were things of beauty everywhere. And that is before mentioning the wonderful view from the house and terrace - we had to drag ourselves away sometimes - the huge safe garden for children to play in and the magical walk through old woods to the beach. After more than fifty years of family holidays we all agreed it was the best place we have ever stayed,

Gorgeous Chapel Cottage in quaint Devon village.

WenleiRating, 5 stars22 months ago
We, family of 4 with 2 teens, loved our stay in Janice’s cottage. It was an amazing home away from home during our weeklong stay here for a wedding. We had everything we could’ve needed to make a few meals during our stay. Janice was quick to respond when we had questions, which we totally appreciated. As for location, Ermington is a cute little town central to getaways in South Devon. Not much in the town itself, except a pub next door, which provided quite a bit of ambient noise every night 😁. Mothecombe Beach is a cute beach 15 minutes away and worth the drive - we had amazing poke from La Cuisine, the food truck near the parking lot. Farther out is Salcombe, Bigbury, Plymouth and other towns worth the trek. If we ever return to the area, we will be sure to return!

Crows Nest Hut on Cuckoo Farm

We enjoyed our glamping-like stay in this wonderfully quiet spot, so close to nature - a little oasis of its own. Janet is a very warm and welcoming host and we hope to visit again one day.
A modern bathroom features a walk-in shower with a glass enclosure, showcasing elegant stone walls. A sleek vanity with a minimalist design is complemented by a large mirror with integrated lighting. Neatly arranged toiletries and a towel hang on a polished rack.

The Mews

The listing did exactly what we needed. The hosts were amazing and really helpful. We stayed longer than we planned, but so glad that Jo and Lee could accommodate.
The exterior of The Annex at Middle Filham is captured, showcasing the stone facade of the building under a partly cloudy sky. A gravel driveway leads up to a covered parking area with two vehicles. Vibrant blue flowers are visible in the foreground, adding a touch of color.

Such a beautiful place to stay and relax. Private area but host is available as needed. Richard and his wife were extremely helpful and kind and truly went above and beyond for our comfort.
A serene view from the cabin reveals rolling green hills and wildflowers. Large glass doors provide a connection to the landscape, while cozy wicker chairs and a small table create a relaxing outdoor space. The interior features a wood stove, enhancing the tranquil setting.

Slate Park Cabin -The Land Devon

IsabellaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Perfect Stay!! We went for two nights and it was an amazing weekend, the location was perfect so secluded. The view was so impressive the photos don’t do it justice, it’s so peaceful it’s perfect to unwind. We found the bed very comfortable, everything was pristine and so clean. Hot water and water pressure was ideal. Hot tub was the best addition. Definitely would love to be back again.
