The Donnerschwee district emerged from an old farming village, which presumably existed since the 9th century. There is no elevator in the house but a private parking space right outside the front door.

Biosupermarkt, Rewe, Apotheke, Bäcker, Friseur, Post alles innerhalb 5 Minuten per Fuß zu erreichen, ebenso die Bushaltestelle in der Alexanderstraße. Da mehrere Linien dort abfahren gibt es ca alle 10 Minuten einen Bus der in die Stadt und zum ZOB fährt. Per Fuß sind es 20 Minuten in die Innenstadt und zum Bahnhof. Das Restaurant "Sasso" z.B. ist 3 Minuten entfernt und das Restaurant "Da Luigi" z.B. liegt 8 Minuten entfernt.
