Villa vacation rentals in Western Province

We had an amazing stay. The views surrounding the house and the interiors of the house were absolutely stunning. Every part of the house was so thoughtfully designed and decorated. The best part of the stay was the delicious vegetarian food which we throughly enjoyed. Sam, Sandun and team were extremely hospitable, warm and helpful. We look forward to staying at the BNB again very soon :)

Gorgeous villa with an amazing view of the lake and lots of space for four couples. The housekeeper, Dileep, was so proactive and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed and offering drinks. We had an amazing barbecue on the last night and the food they cooked for us was always incredible, some of the best we had in Sri Lanka! The downstairs is open to the outdoors so expect some wildlife (geckos and mosquitos) - overall, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay with comfortable rooms and a pool with a perfect temperature!

We were a family of 9 (6 adults and 3 kids) staying overnight at Chandana's place before heading out to Bentota next day noon. We arrived around 9:45 PM tired and weary, but were welcomed by the warm home of Padmi and Chandana. They had cooked some amazing hot dinner for us which we wolfed down. Their house is very contemporary and comfortable, and we all slept well. The rooms and the house is very clean with all the necessary amenities - whether you are renting the whole house or individual rooms. It is also in a quiet neighborhood and we woke up to the sounds of birds chirping. Definitely a place we will consider when we visit Colombo next.

Great place for a weekend away with friends or family. The pool area is as great as you see in the pictures. Clean and tidy place with a very helpful caretaker.

Maybe the best AirBnB property I’ve used? Lovely and spacious home with dreamy outdoor lighting when the sun goes down. So much natural light by day! It was perfect for our meetings and our host + property manager were so gracious. We found out we could purchase meals during our stay and it was certainly the right decision. The food was amazing, delivered on time and servings were generous. Highly recommend!

Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt! Sowohl der Besitzer als auch unser persönlicher Assistent (fährt euch kostenlos mit einem Tuk Tuk von A nach B, im Umkreis von circa 3 km) die Zimmer, das Bad, der Zugang, direkt zum Meer, einfach traumhaft! Direkt neben an befindet sich ein Hotel mit Restaurant, wo man ebenfalls lecker essen kann. Absolute Empfehlung von uns! Die Kommunikation war auch perfekt!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Me and my friends had an amazing time staying at this villa! The house had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing getaway. We spent hours playing the PS4 on the big TV, swimming in the gorgeous pool, and unwinding in the luxurious bathtubs. The facilities were fantastic and up to the highest standards. The villa was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it feel like a perfect home away from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a memorable vacation spot!

Great place had a great time and our extra guests were also accommodated with ease. Will come back again

Good place to stay

We had a great time staying at the villa. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The breakfast was good, generous and served flexibly whenever we were ready. The garden and the pool are really pretty. Rohan was so accommodating and amazingly helpful with organizing transport and everything else we needed. The two dogs are really cute, especially goofy Mario. All in all I can really recommend staying at the villa, especially if you want to relax with a group of friends or family.

Villa Maggona is an absolutely beautiful property with the most amazing staff. Chef prepares fabulous fresh food, Stanley is a lovely person who will always advise and accommodate. A special mention must go to Sumrita who really is the most beautiful, kind soul who goes above and beyond in her role. She really wants her guests time at Villa Maggona to be special. The garden is maintained every day and the pool is beautiful. You won’t find so much as a fallen leaf lying around. The sound of the waves crashing on the beach are very relaxing. The beach is lovely for an evening stroll. We really did find this home to be a haven. One thing to consider is that you do have to have transport to go to a beach with amenities and/or activities. Tuk tuks are readily available, we used the Pickme app which allows you to book and pay cash once your journey is completed. I would definitely go back to VM and can’t imagine anyone not enjoying this beautiful property and the amazing staff working there.

We had a great stay at Villa Republic. The team was so friendly, helpful and looked after us from the very first moment. With one of the best cooks, we were spoilt with the most delicious meals. The property was well located on the river, so we were able to take advantage of the water sports right next door. It was only a short 10min walk over the bridge to Bentota beach. The property is huge with 8BR and 6 bathrooms. One of the aircons wasn't working and a couple of the bathrooms needed to be refreshed, but apart from that the property was perfect. Our group of 10 was able to rest and relax. Our 4 night stay was great value, as it included the services of the staff, for whom nothing was too hard. We will be back!

We are a group of 13 pax interior designers from Malaysia to visit Sri Lanka. Benjamis’s estate - the Nisala Arana is a hidden gem that we found at Bentota area! From before booking until check out, the whole process is so smooth and I was being rest assured everything will be taking care and Benjamin’s team proved it with their action. We were welcomed with cold towels and welcome drinks, great smile from chef Shan and the team, not to mention the perfectly clean room, swimming pool and the well maintained estate with swimming pool that come with bicycles. As there aren’t a lot of restaurant options so Benjamin offered us could get their in house chef to prepare breakfast and dinner for us and that is another best decision we made! Thank you for making our stay so memorable! It is definitely one of the highlight of our trip and we have really good private time to chill and bond in the estate. If you are in the Bentota, do book this estate!

Really nice host and really nice place. Worth the money

Our stay at this villa was absolutely fantastic! The villa was in excellent condition, offering a perfect blend of comfort and luxury with a breathtaking scenic lake view. What truly made our experience special was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The convenience of being able to order our preferred food options at a very reasonable price added to the overall comfort of our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Fabulous location for a pit stop and views are amazing. The food was delicious, staff attentive and we stayed as a group and we all enjoyed it. Note bring mosquito repellent for the evenings if you wish to stay out:)

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in diesem traumhaften Haus! Von der ersten Minute an wurden wir herzlich von Ashan und Nimal empfangen, die uns mit einem Willkommensdrink begrüßten. Die beiden waren unglaublich aufmerksam und freundlich – jederzeit hilfsbereit und mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Gastfreundschaft: Ganz spontan zauberten Ashan und Nimal ein köstliches Mittagessen sowie ein BBQ mit landestypischen Zutaten, das wirklich keine Wünsche offen ließ. Auch das Frühstück war hervorragend – unsere Wünsche wurden nicht nur berücksichtigt, sondern übertroffen! Das Haus selbst ist sehr gepflegt, die Außenbeleuchtung schafft eine traumhafte Atmosphäre, und der kleine Pool war perfekt für eine entspannte Abkühlung. Sogar als wir spontan eine Fahrradtour machen wollten, kümmerten sie sich darum, dass die Fahrräder bereit und fahrbereit waren. Alles in allem: 5 Sterne PLUS! Felt at home as we came. The caretaker and his wife was very kind and helpful. We have been in this villa before so we had a great experience last time as well hence we decided to come again with our parents. Place is very spacious with a lovely view of the pool, some greenery and the beach. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to go on a small vacay not too far from Colombo and enjoy with family and friends.

The pool was very nice and clean. The caretakers are very friendly and helpful. This place is feels remote and closed off which is great for relaxing within the premise the villa although the neighbourhood isn’t all that great for tourists unless if they are local. The beds and furniture were all clean and spotless. The sheets are clean. The AC works well. Overall it was good place.

Peacock Villa within the Waterland Hotel was spacious, beautifully fitted out and had a lovely, breezy veranda surrounded by the canal and greenery. It also has a great private plunge pool. Location is just a short tuk tuk ride away to restaurants and shops, and an easy ride to the airport. A great entry or exit point. The host was friendly and responsive, and the team onsite were very kind and accommodating which we really appreciated. Fantastic stay, highly recommended. Thank you.

Best villa in Bolgoda area! Thank you for the fantastic service provided during our stay. The villa is a masterpiece of elegance, boasting spacious rooms, modern amenities, and exquisite decor. We were unable to find the location when we got there but Anill(Care Taker) was really helpful he literally came to where we were and guided us. Sri Lankan Breakfast was brilliant. Villa has a magnificent view and just views the serene water beneath the lovely sunset. The Villa was amazing. Hope to come back soon. Thanks Ayesha for consistently checking on us! ❤️🤩
