Vacation rentals with a pool in Western Province

We had a wonderful full month in the villa. Everything was perfect and the surrounding nature absolutely breathtaking. I really appreciated the new equipment, vacuum cleaner, rice cooker, washing machine. Uncle Sirisena was always there to make sure everything was okay for us and was adorable. An exceptional man. The pool was maintained daily. I am immensely grateful for this rich immersive experience in the middle of nature. We were able to observe many beautiful birds, monkeys, butterflies... It was perfect and we left with tears in our eyes. The only negative aspect, if I had to mention one, is the second morning at 8 a.m., a call from Annalene (wife of one of the owners) who wanted to get extra money from us because my mother and I didn't occupy the same room, I paid for the entire place at the time of my booking.

Upul's property is beautiful. The caretaker was very thorough with her job and made sure we were comfortable, She even arranged a local tuk tuk for a dinner visit to town. It's a bit further off from the main touristy centre, but if you are seeking a quiet, beautiful retreat, this is great, and proximity to the airport makes it a perfect 1st or last stop from Colombo.

The villa is great .. Swimming pool is good .. The communication is easy and good .. Maybe the only one thing that if you are expecting a privacy in your staying i will tell you don't .. There is a nice guy his name Lalith he is a caretaker living next to the pool .. And offering us every help we need .. He is cooking good food .. Only that Colombo is about 25 to 30 minutes by car .

This is the 3rd time we are staying at Namal’s beautiful home. As always Namal is a great host and excellent service and support. Sumudu is a great caretaker. This will be our go to place whenever we visit Sri Lanka. Thank you Namal

We booked 'A place' for a group of 6. The place was exactly as seen in pictures. 'Dilan' - the host was always available for questions. He gave us a good tour and encouraged to use all the amenities. The home caretaker 'Anusha' was on the property 24*7 and available to assist in the group activities and daily chores. We were also introduced to a local guide 'Champika' who virtually got everything done for us. Since, we didn't speak Singalese, Dilan and Champika made sure all our needs were taken care of. Over all: - Great place and Stay - Friendly and helpful Host - Excellent care taker and his availability - Very reliable and trustworthy people - No hidden charges or trying to squeez extra It was a wonderful experience over all. I highly recommend this place for a Professional meeting, Family or friends get together. Nice and Quite with access to the beach right there!! And most importantly - 'Friendly, trustworthy and reliabile' people for a stay in a foreign country!!!

Great location, and more than I expected. We had a great time and the host was really good at checking in on us and making the whole trip smooth. He taught how to turn on the POOL JACUZZI!! It was amazing! The bed sheets and towels were brand new or felt new! The space was spotless. We walked right across to the beach and had some amazing food! Surprise is mentioned the hosts name and you get some great service. Everyone seems to know him! The backyard is really quiet and you can have a lovely drink in the Gazebo overlooking the pool. This was a great find! I would recommend this for single and family visitors! Sri Lanka is amazing and the host is a true island hospitality king! We felt safe in the house and the neighborhood. Great WiFi and fully stocked kitchen! Bathrooms were spotless and great shower pressure. We loved it all and wished we stayed longer.

We arrived in Columbo Airport just before 3am, technically the day after our booking started. The host had been great in the lead-up, checking in regularly and reassuring us everything was sorted, and he even came to the airport to pick us up himself. The drive was relatively short but lively. Even at that hour, the streets were buzzing with people, bikes, tuk-tuks, and market stalls. It was a bit of an eye opener after a long flight. As we turned down dark, bumpy backroads, we were a little unsure, especially with a young child. Once we passed through the iron gate and saw the garden and pool, we still wasnt sold, but as soon as the front door opened, we relaxed. The house was spotless, spacious, and exactly as described. I woke early and opened the curtains to palm trees and the pool, a total contrast to the hustle outside. The host came by in the morning to clean the pool and arranged a tuk-tuk to take us shopping. Highly recommend hideaway right next to a buzzing local area.

Our stay was perfect for easy travel to airport the following morning. Peaceful evening walk along the beach and a cosy bed to come back to! The shower easily had the best water pressure we had the whole trip 😁

Great hosts! Very responsive and proactive in helping us with questions and needs. Location is great - close to restaurants and shopping. Would recommend this place to all.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the flat was great - really spacious, clean and modern. The view was incredible also, and the aircon worked really well. Sathii was very quick at responding to any queries. I am already planning to revisit here when I am back in Sri Lanka. Thank you

We had a beautiful experience at this Airbnb. What an amazing apartment beautifully decorated , so modern and amazing furniture including the beds and bathrooms were wonderful. We had a lovely stay here. The place was very clean and comfortable, had lots of facilities. The view is also beautiful. There isn’t much to do within walking distance, however we booked here to relax and prepare for our flight quite close to the airport. Dr M was very responsive and an overall great host. I can definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful pristine apartment in a very good location. Pool area very quiet and a great place to relax. Excellent security, felt extremely safe. Overall we were extremely happy with the apartment and we have no issue about recommending this apartment.

Modern and spotless apartment with great air conditioning. Pool and gym were excellent. Would definitely recommend, particularly as Uthay was flexible with the check in and also gave us a late check out.
