Nature eco lodge vacation rentals in Western Province

It was a beautiful stay, we could feel very home and without reservation although living in the same house with the host family (in separate Appartement of course). The Family is very very friendly and the dogs lovely and quite. We got delicious breakfast and dinner delivered to our balcony. The garden at the lake is beautiful and we felt peace to wake up with this view. We slept with open doors and fresh air and it was very quite. Everything is possible to get (dinner, scooter rental, massage, beer, airport shuttle, excursions) so it is a great service. We also especially liked that we don‘t have the feeling to have to pay for every small thing like at other places, here the kayaks, bikes and Breakfast are included in the price/for free. The neighbourhood is nice and safe. Thanks for the great stay and hospitality- we are so happyto have found this places for last enjoyable days of our vacation!

Sanjaya was a lovely host! We had a wonderful time at his gorgeous place - the view was incredible. His mother was also so sweet, and we really enjoyed our conversations with both of them :) thank you!

Un coin de paradis Oui après ce long voyage en avion , le décalage horaire la différence de température un enfant fiévreux et d autres facteurs qui rentraient en ligne de compte, je me suis retrouvée ici dans ce ressorte: tout a été si parfait: la prise en charge a l aéroport , le jus d arrivée, le repas de midi, le soir, en room service, une grande chambre, propre. Et puis la piscine pour les après sieste, eau douce sans chlore, la serviabilité du manageur, les sourires des boys et leur prise en charge de nos repas, le jardin entretenu avec ferveur par son jardinier, ama et son riz au curry, les chants des oiseaux, le Calme la tranquillité... tout fut appréciable pour passer notre jetlag en paix, sans hésiter j y reviendrais... J ai pu commencé mon voyage sereine dans un bus 4 h de temps via Kandy:-)

Staying at Lakmali's place in Runakanda Forest is definitely one of my top 5 favorite places in Sri Lanka. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to stay there, especially with my mom, as it was her first time in Sri Lanka,and she absolutely loved every moment of it! The food was beyond incredible! Each meal was showcasing the rich and flavorful Sri Lankan cuisine. The peaceful and serene surroundings of the forest made it the perfect escape. It’s a truly tranquil place where we could relax, and the location was just ideal for enjoying authentic local experiences. We had the chance to pick tea just a short walk away from the cottage, a unique experience that we’ll never forget. We also had the pleasure of meeting wonderful people, and the warm hospitality made our stay feel special. My mom and I both agreed that it was a stay we’ll cherish forever. I can’t recommend Lakmali’s place highly enough for anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic, and unforgettable experience in SL !

Great room, with air conditioning and hot water. Large and comfortable bathroom. The room overlooks the garden, where the birds fly and the sounds of the jungle can be heard. The house is very clean. The host is an amazingly kind and sociable person who also loves to travel. Constantly treated me to all sorts of goodies. The house is located in a quiet location in a residential area, while within walking distance you can find parks, cafes, restaurants, shops and laundry’s. Also a 15-minute taxi ride is the bus station and the railway station, from which you can go anywhere in Sri Lanka. The center of Colombo is about 20-30 minutes by scooter.

Ayoga und Sunjay waren wundervolle Gastgeber! Wir haben uns mehr als wohl gefühlt. Sie sind auf alle Wünsche eingegangen und waren immer super hilfsbereit! Wir würden jederzeit wieder bei ihnen übernachten. Vielen lieben Dank für alles ☺️

Sanjaya and his family welcomed us heart-warmingly at their beautiful, yet not finished homestay. It is already a wonderful place and they’re working ambitiously to finish this treasure with love to details. Despite staying only one night, we saw a lot of wildlife and a stunning sunset at the river. Sanjaya gave us many tips for the area around Bentota, especially with his knowledge on architecture. :) The room is really spacious and has a big cozy bed.
