The devil's nest and the largest migration boulder formation in Navettavuori Finland, as well as a large 10m long pool, come to mind for the whole family. There is a Duudson-park in Seinäjoki Ideapark. Tuuri's shop and Ähtäri Zoo are about an hour's drive from the Rock Houses. You can bring your own linens and save the environment, or you can purchase them on site for the duration of your stay for a laundry fee of €10/set, including a towel.

The region is about 50:50 bilingual finnish-swedish speaking, but the archipelago is nearly 100 % Swedish speaking. Many people speak both languages. English is a common foreign language. You get by with english very well.
