Really atmospheric and cozy place. Cozy yard, yard games and beautiful flowers. The old-fashioned sauna was a familiar experience and a return to childhood. The monkey was excited about the toy world upstairs. Everything you need was found in the kitchen, including baking. Really good location next to the lake, swimming and hiking trails in the forest. The old nostalgic playground was a nice surprise, the child enjoyed it. You could come back here!

A paradise in nature. The most beautiful and perfect AirBnb we've ever experienced. It was a dream to be in. Everything was new and very well maintained. Hannu has thought of everything - from the beautiful boat, small path to your own island with barbecue area to the complete furnishings of garden furniture, fly screens and a beautiful sauna. Nature is indescribable! In four hours we rowed around the big lake. You can experience the Finnish lakes landscape in full splendor … Water, expanse, trees, sky… The villa is so private, there are no neighbors far and wide. You are alone and enjoy the luxury of the villa. Ulla and Hannu live 1 km away and are there to care for you if you need anything. Don't think, book it, you will find a gem. In addition, it is on the right side with sun until midnight in summer. Unforgettable.

Absolutely incredible milieu. You can see from the pictures that it's a good place, but even better in person. Communication with Hannes is easy and clear.

This farmhouse is charming, rustic with a touch of modern, and peaceful. Everything was exactly as described and the property was not difficult to find. You can sit out on the front stoop with a cup of coffee and listen to the sounds of nature, with nothing else bothering you like traffic or other city noises. We liked walking around and looking at all the different flowers and trees on the property; so much to look at! Modern appliances in the kitchen made cooking easy and there were plenty of places to sit and relax. Jan was very responsive to questions. If you're going to the Oulu area, don't pass up an opportunity to stay at a place like this!

Everything went smoothly. Clearly, things have been thought out from the guest's point of view, the luggage was in order and easy to find, the instructions were clear. Homely atmosphere.

Fantastic mökki in unbeliavably beautiful scenery! Arja is a great host and the cottage has everything one needs. if you are looking for a getaway in a very remote private place, this is for you. it is not super easy to get there. next Shop is about 35 min away with the car. you should plan your shopping well. I can't recommend Pöllötupa enough. Will come again!

We had a wonderful stay! The sauna and jacuzzi were absolute highlights and made for a truly relaxing experience. The surroundings are peaceful and perfect for unwinding. Overall, a fantastic accommodation that we would gladly recommend and visit again!

Joonas's place was excellent. We loved the sauna the very most. The lake view was stunning and we were in total privacy. Would recommend to anyone.

An amazing stay in the middle of nature. The cottage has beautiful ambience and the sauna is the perfect way to end the day. If you want to unwind and enjoz the peace of nature, this is just the place. Note: the only bathroom is in an outhouse, this is the authentic Finnish summerhouse tradition.

Anelli and her lake cabin are the definition of going above and beyond! From the pick up all the way at the airport to the personal instructions and recommendations, I could have wished for nothing more. The house is great, also in autumn when the leaves start changing colour and you can go for a refreshing dip in the lake during your sauna. It's probably as adventurous as Airbnb goes and gives you a real experience of being out in nature. Thanks so much for your hospitality Anneli and Jonne!

The cottage was in a great location and the amenities were first class. Everything was well thought out for the guests and there was plenty to do in both the rain and the sun. Very cozy and idyllic summer cottage! Markku was friendly and responded quickly and helped when needed. We will definitely come back:)

A beautiful cabin on a smaller lake with clean water, private boat, beautifully planted garden, many beautiful seating, private dock and wood-fired sauna and separate sleeping cottage. Since it was still quite cold in May, we were happy with the nice hand knitted socks! Like in the good old time, we didn't want to leave!!!
