Welcome to our oasis of tranquility. Being located on a historical and green location in the Achterhoek, you can fully enjoy the nature. Centuries ago, a castle called ‘Huis Ulft’ was located on the premises. It used to belong to the sister of one of the Netherlands most important historical figures. Nowadays, the location still resembles a fairytale’s beauty. The cottage is comfortably equipped with facilities as a large private terrace, multiple unique bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen.

National Parks Veluwezoom and Hoge Veluwe are within cycling distance, and the city of Arnhem is 10 minutes away by car or public transport. Ideal for recreation or business travelers. . Privacy and hospitality are key words for us. You will have a light living room, a complete kitchen and bathroom, a bedroom, two more beds in a small loft, a veranda and a small yard. A bicycle shed is provided. The cottage is heated or cooled downstairs by an air conditioner. The sleeping loft is unheated and really cold in winter. There is an electric radiator. In short, enjoy this beautiful area. Not suitable for those with disabilities. Without breakfast.

Since July 2020, our guest house has been open for bookings: A renovated old barn, located on the grounds of our 1804 farm, located on 4.5 acres of grassland. Ideal for 1-4 people, a 5th guest is welcome. 2 double beds + 1 stretcher. On request: 1 cot and 1 travel bed. It is completely independent. In the picturesque Voorthuizen, there is much to do, so besides tranquility there is plenty of entertainment to find in the area.

Bed Op Steeg is a detached B&B/Vacation home in the village of De Steeg, (between Arnhem and Zutphen), at the foot of the Posbank and Veluwezoom National Park. A stone's throw away is the river De IJssel. Right in front of the door, you have your own parking space and an outdoor area/terrace. There is a living room with fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom, master bedroom and an extra bedroom. There is room for up to 4 people and 2 dogs.

The cottage is surrounded by a lot of nature and a beautiful lake with weeping willows. The A-frame house offers plenty of privacy with 2 hectares of garden. The lake house has a bright living room, kitchen, bathroom with shower and bedroom. Our two Scottish Highland cattle are behind our cottage and are a real highlight. There are also many birds, hedgehogs and rabbits in the garden. A BBQ is available on the terrace excl. gas bottle.

Meerzeit - Relax and experience a houseboat -

Along the quay in the Harderhaven is this beautiful Houseboat. You are not allowed to sail this houseboat yourself, it is too large for that. The houseboat is ideal for relaxing. You can do that at the harbor, or we can sail your houseboat to Knarland, where you can enjoy yourself. Renting a sloop to be able to go back and forth to Harderwijk or Zeewolde is one of the possibilities and is of course the ultimate water feeling.
