What a beautiful place to stay - right next to a nature reserve, with the oyster catchers and curlews calling at night and wildlife wandering into the garden. But also very close to pubs, coffee shop and the sea. Great if you like birds, wildlife and peace and quiet.

This place is 5 star in everyway. Tina was an excellent host and very responsive. The place was very spacious and clean. Comfy king bed and good shower. There’s a lovely welcome pack. Outside there’s a big outdoor setting overlooking fields and a fully fenced paddock to exercise your dog. Definitely be back!

Just wow, this is possibly the nicest Airbnb I’ve stayed in! Beautiful house, everything was high quality, kitchen had everything we could need! We were a big group staying for my daughter’s wedding locally & it was just perfect! I’d come back to this area just for this house!

Lovely big space as described.Perfect location for exploring all that Rochester has to offer, with free parking on the street outside. Short walk to the Castle, Cathedral and places to eat and drink.Very friendly and most helpful hosts.

Melanie is a fantastic host—super friendly and always quick to respond. She goes above and beyond to describe local activities in detail, which really helped us plan our stay. We had a lovely stay at Becky’s place. The house was very clean and comfortably spacious for our group of seven — no small feat when you’re trying to coordinate showers, tea rounds and who gets the comfy seat in the garden. The terrace and garden were a real highlight, with a little sea view that made morning coffees and evening drinks feel extra pleasant. The value for money was excellent, which we really appreciated. Now, the location… well, let’s just say Sheppey has a certain rugged charm. It’s not exactly buzzing with activity, but if you’re looking to unplug, stare at the sky and listen to seagulls with strong regional accents, you’re in the right place. The house itself is simple and functional. Becky was responsive and helpful throughout, and the listing was accurate. Thanks again for the stay!

We had such an incredible time at this house. We were all pleasantly surprised at how great the house was and all the amenities. I don’t think the advert does it justice. We were a big group of 21 with 11 little ones who were in HEAVEN. We got very lucky with the weather and spent the whole weekend in the glorious grounds. We brought our own paddling pool and it was perfect. The aspect of the house means you get stunning sunsets and the back terrace is a real sun trap - long evenings sunbathing until 7pm! The surrounding area is stunning and the local village is so beautiful!! Walking distance (even with a million young children) to the village shop and then on to the very well equipped play park. We only wish we could have stayed for a week, the kids never wanted to leave. Some very special memories made here! Rachel the host is on the end of the phone for any questions and was excellent at responding to our queries.

Tyler was always happy assist with any queries we had about he guests stay and proactively responsive with messages and information that made it as smooth and as an easy process as possible. Recommendations and further assistance was provided and a great host we will use again in the future.

We were only in the area a couple days for a family reunion so we really only slept in the accommodation but everything was there we would definitely book again

Lovely little place, was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. It was great to have the BBQ and seating outside so we could enjoy the sun. It was also good to have the passes for the clubhouse and pool. Our little one loved the Disney theme, especially all the Stitch items. Area is very peaceful, great views across the estuary. All the staff on site were very friendly and helpful, we had a great break.

We had an amazing stay at Silvia’s caravan! The place was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Silvia was a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, and quick to respond to any questions. The caravan itself was charming and well-equipped, making it feel like a true home away from home. I enjoyed my stay immensely, the local pub across the way a short op seconds stroll has an exceptional range of high quality food, serves by really friendly staff. If I ever need to be back in this part of the UK I shall certainly be seeking to return to this apartment.

Fantastic lodge, just as described, spotlessly clean, everything you could need. Ideally located to visit Maldon, Burnham, Leigh on sea etc. Good choice of country inns and cafes. Would definately stay again.

We had an excellent stay at Henry's place. A beautiful historic cottage with eclectic and interesting touches. Henry clearly has an eye for design and this quirky and charming property has it all. The garden is wonderful and a overall a great place to get away from it. Location is excellent, less than 5 mins puts you to shops restaurants and historic riverfront but without losing its peacefulness. Henry's local knowledge, responsiveness and amenable nature helped make our stay even better.

The Lodge is a great place to stay. We were 5 adults, plenty of space in an immaculate property. Catherine was very friendly, helpful and informative. We hope to staying again if ever back on Sheppey.
