Vacation rentals with breakfast in West Tamar Council

We loved staying in this adorable cottage. Extra heaters in the front rooms which are away from the split system were very much appreciated. We sourced some firewood and had beautiful cosy evenings in front of the fire. Close to the centre of Charles st and Karen is a friendly host 😊 I would return again!

The Black House felt like a home away from home. Had everything you could possibly need for a long stay. Very attentive/helpful host. The interior design was impeccable and very modern. 10/10 would recommend.

This was one of the most memorable Airbnb experiences I’ve had in Australia. From the moment we stepped into the home, we were blown away by the bright, open-plan design that perfectly reflects the Australian lifestyle. The spacious living room, dining area, and master bedroom are all framed by large floor-to-ceiling windows that open up to a serene view of sand dunes and the ocean – simply stunning. What made this stay extra special was the warm hospitality. It was the first time I’ve been personally welcomed by a host in Australia, and it made all the difference. We were greeted with a bottle of welcome champagne, handmade chocolates, freshly baked bread, eggs, milk, coffee, ice cream, and even beer – opening the fridge felt like arriving at a dear friend’s home, not just a rental.

My wife and I have made this great home our go to place when we come to Launceston. After repeat visits we know that everything will be beautifully set up, clean, peaceful and conveniently situated to the City. Maryann is a great host.

Beautiful home to stay in, so comfortable and cosy, just like being at home. The cupboards are stocked with everything you might need. Spectacular view from the front bay window, can just relax, sit and have a coffee. Was Excellent xx

My best airbnb experience to date. Keryn and Andrew were the most incredible hosts. Communication was amazing and super flexible when our flight times were changed, not to mention the thoughtful extra bits and pieces that made our stay even easier. The accommodation was in an absolutely perfect location, walking distance to everything in town and right across the road from a beautiful park. Nice and quite and had everything you could possibly think of needing. Can't recommend this enough, super lucky to find it.

Amazing penthouse apartment! Two nights was not long enough to enjoy it all. Kate and Toby were amazing hosts and will definitely stay here again when in Launceston. Lots of extra little touches making it a great experience.

This was exactly what we’ve been searching for on our many trips to Launceston: comfortable, immaculately clean, central (we hardly used our hire car), with fantastic kitchen facilities. We have family in Launceston and it was lovely to be able to invite them over for a bowl of homemade soup and a board game in a beautiful space. The plants, decor, great wifi, board games and morning sun shining in across the park were add bonuses. We look forward to coming back soon.

Beautiful quiet location overlooking the Tamar River, yet close to everything. Felt like we had the place to ourselves. Lovely modern decor, spotless and everything we needed. Extensive continental breakfast supplied for our 2 night stay. Welcoming port and chocolates appreciated. Information booklet very helpful. Definitely the place to stay when visiting Launceston and its surrounds.

Sue's place is charismatic and fun. The house is in a great spot, and Sue was a fantastic host, who makes a great breakfast!

The location was peaceful and convenient, making it the perfect base for our trip. Every detail was carefully considered, and we truly felt at home during our stay. Communication was easy and warm, and check-in/check-out was seamless. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality Airbnb experience. What a very special, gorgeous cottage to stay in. Julie and Gary have done everything meticulously as they have lovingly restored the stable. There are special little touches everywhere - beautiful linen on the comfortable bed, the fire laid ready to be lit, underfloor heating, warm towels, home made apricot jam and quince jelly along with sourdough bread, cheese and wine. The breakfast goodies in the fridge were yummy. Nothing has been overlooked. It was such a joy to walk in the garden and have Julie show us around. The cottage is in a great location to check out the Tamar Valley and local area. Communication leading up to our stay was really great. Thank you Julie and Gary for being such wonderful and welcoming hosts and for your kindness in letting us share your special cottage.

Eliza was very kind and friendly. The room was so clean pretty cosy and beautiful with overlooking the garden. Adorable welcoming doggies 🐕 Really loved my stay in this room.

Only a short Uber ride from the city restaurants and bars, our wine tour even picked us up at the door! Will always recommend your home, and if we’re back in Launceston we know where we are staying :)

So incredibly lucky to stay at such a stunning escape. Every detail of the place makes it so unique. Had a little welcome basket with local goodies, made me feel very welcomed. Everything was amazing !
