The place was amazing,great location ,matches the Pictures. I'd recommend it to those who love private and intimate,peaceful setting Linda was great and stuff very helpful. we would definitely love to come back.

Loved to stay here. Definitely coming back again to live great farm life, see wild life next to your bedroom and take strolls and little hikes just around your apartment to say hello to a giraffe :-) Staying here is really special. Great warm-hearted hosts who are offering a lot to their guests. Enjoyed evenings with bon fires before relaxing in the pool or jacuzzi. Clean rooms, good communication and a lot of tips what to do around (Pilanesberg Nature Reserve, Cradle of human mankind...). Highly recommended!!!

Allan is a kind and gracious host. His place is gorgeous! Its clean, quaint and bang in the middle of nature. Loved the art, tons of gorgeous books and games. The pool is to die for. Its more breathtaking than the pics, esp in afternoons. The pool is elevated on a hill so you have a panoramic view of surrounding mountains on one side and the magalies bush on the other. The view from this pool was better than the one I experienced at a jacuzzi in a castle in Tuscany. Thanks again Allan. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Awesome, a truly unique "bush" experience with all the comforts of home, ... except television !! Which was awesome !! Lots for kids to do and explore. I loved the set-up of the cabin we stayed in "Vultures View". Really great .. all the bedrooms open onto the pool deck, as well as the massive kitchen doors which keeps everyone connected and relaxed. Go with comfort !!! Marty G.

we loved staying there once again! I made a double booking and she was so amazing and helped me to get a refund even though it wasn't her mistake! I loved the aircone in the stays! I will definitely stay there again!

Perfect for a group getaway, with open spaces and all amenities in excess. Host and on premises service was good. Basic yet comfortable!!

Even with the muddy roads from all the rain we were still able to drive through relatively easy. Lovely little spot that was perfect for our one night stay.

Had a fantastic stay! The home was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. What made it extra special were the morning walks with our dogs in the beautiful surroundings – plenty of trails and fresh air. The location is peaceful yet convenient, and the host was welcoming and responsive. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and enjoy some quality time with their furry friends!

We had a wonderful weekend stay. It is the perfect getaway from everything rushed. The cottage had everything we needed, it is beautiful and cosy and the surroundings is absolutely beautiful with plenty of birds and butterflies. We had a long beautiful walk with our dogs with breathtaking views from the top of the hill. The fenced in garden made the stay with our dogs very comfortable and they also had a great time. We would definitely like to go back again.

It was very peaceful and enjoyable experience to stay there. I loved the design of house. The house was very clean. All stuff prepared very well. The fireplace was wonderful. When we needed the wood we just text the owner and it was read (with a reasonable price) Remember you are in the nature. You may see some insects and spiders at the home. It was a very good experience for my family. To reach the place a bit hard. The road is struggle you to reach there. If you don’t have SUV be careful or hire a SUV. Totally I recommend this place who wants to escape city life for a while.

We will definitely come back & of course recommend to our networks both local & abroad as South African family who lived in France,Lyon for 10years. Fact that your under 10kms from the Craddle of Human kind I know our Western networks will love it here.

We had the most glorious weekend at at Owl House celebration a friend's upcoming nuptials. The house is magnificent. Beautifully decorated. Spotlessly clean. Pristine big kitchen. Multiple seating and dining areas and a pool. My daughters wanted to ride the horses. Trish came and took them out herself. The resident staff and professional, warm and hard hardworking. Nothing was too much to ask of them. A wonderful home for an extended family or friends get away! We will be back. Thank you Trish

The cottage is exactly what we were looking for. A rural retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Johannesburg. If you want to feel like you are away in nature yet somewhat part of a working farm then this is the place for you. With it being situated inside an indigenous nursery just made it so much more special. Not to speak about the farm fresh milk and cream in the fridge. Bliss!!

This place is amazing. There is staff that come in every day to clean and they even packed out wood for us to use in the fireplaces! Such a nice place to go for a quick getaway an hour out of Johannesburg!

What a beautiful, relaxing place. Had everything you need and more. Amazing small touches like kids cutlery and crockery, extra towels, linen and even a hairdryer. Hosts were super accommodating, friendly, happy to show us around. We felt welcomed and had an amazing time. Thank you so very much for everything, we loved Mount Nebo!
