Spacious home . Great for hosting a family . Handy to shops . The home had almost everything you might need . Washing machine was a great bonus also 2 bathrooms . It was a comfortable stay for 12 days . Banika was always responsive to our txts. Would highly recommend especially for families . Affordable stay in Shillong .

Wailad is a sweet young girl who is already a leader in every aspect! She’s curated this cute house with all amenities in heart of Jowai which is almost like the capital of west Jaintia hills. She was always available whenever we needed her. We had an extensive itinerary but we took a day break just to enjoy the bnb and Jowai town. Harsh and Wailad also helped us design quite a lot of our itinerary! We would recommend the stay to everyone and like to visit again. Best wishes to Wailad for future adventures :)

Great apartment with excellent amenities - superb location close to numerous restaurants and shops - the area is lively which can feel noisy at times but nothing that really bothered me. Emmanuel is a great host - responds quickly and is very helpful - the apartment is very cozy and is suitable for even longer stays.

Phiba, the host is super sweet. Responsible. We wanted to check-in before 3 hrs of check-in time and that too was last moment, but she made that possible. Without any extra fee. Not only Phiba, we met with her family , they all very welcoming. She has 4 beautiful babies! 3 dogs and one little cat! They were definitely a cherry on the cake! It's sad that we book last moment and we were only there for one day, the next days were already booked. But if we are coming back , we will definitely stay at hers! Thank you for the beautiful stay Phiba! Best Regards ❤️

Orchidale Homestay! Shillong's best kept secret!

Darrell has such a beautiful place to stay which make us hard to left it. We really felt like home. He decorate the place inside out. Everything is top notch. Served us the complimentary breakfast for our anniversary. He has photogenic garden, a cozy sitting area and such a nice dining area as well. Food was delicious.

Though reaching there was a nightmare, staying there was heaven. Cook Lam made us sumptuous thali. I recommend this place if you are looking out for a peaceful village life. The bedroom, cloth hanging room, and washroom were cross ventilated. While going there, one has to be very clear about the route as Google map can take you through long muddy roads with dead ends.

Dvonne was there to welcome when we arrive. He was very friendly and helpful. After ensuring a smooth checkin he showed us the room and explained about water and appliances. We had to leave early so we couldn't connect but overall the places it really good (like a studio apartment) and cozy.
