Pamela's place was above and beyond what we needed and expected. It was perfect for our family! Washer and dryer was a definite plus! Beach was great, other reviews were saying it was too small but we thought it was perfect, private, and beautiful. Near many great places to eat and things to do. Would definitely stay here again!

The pool and beach were awesome and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The view from the balcony was amazing! Everyone we met was very friendly. You could exchange towels and linens daily if you wanted. There was plenty of seating around the pool, but we found it helpful to put our towels out first thing in the morning to get choice seating. I would go back in a heartbeat if the room was updated a bit. The carpeting had multiple stains that are not shown in the photos and the balcony needs painting and cleaning. Bedding was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen were clean. There was a lot of attention to detail in towel display, etc., offering a positive first impression. Sufficient trash bags and paper toweling were also thankfully provided to last the week. Deb was an outstanding host! She responded quickly to all of my questions.

Spent a week here and it was everything we hoped it would be. The unit was beautiful, clean, and well-equipped with everything that our family of 4 needed for the week. In fact, it was even nicer than the pictures. We loved being able to walk out directly to the pool and appreciated all of the beach chairs and towels, plus cooler. Location was great with a good number of restaurants within a short walk, and easy to drive to other parts of the island. We would definitely stay here again!

Nicely appointed home, in the hills of the jungle above the town of Dominical. Mary and Eddy were excellent hosts and responsive to our questions. They even bought new boogie boards for our use! You’ll definitely need a 4x4, but if you’re looking for something quiet and off the beaten path, you’ll enjoy this home. Thank you Mary and Eddy for a nice stay!

This has been an amazing experience!! the place is very comfortable and clean. The location is just perfect, the beach is downstairs, grocery walking distance, bars and restaurants walking distance and everyone is super friendly. The host, Laura and her son Luis are unbelievably kind and welcoming. They get way out of their way to help with anything you need. Communication is first class. I will be back to this place FOR SURE!!

Loved my stay at Marie's condo on the third floor. Very private, very peaceful and I would 100 percent recommend and come back to. No security on site though. Host did NOT include the front gate code in the check-in instructions or description at all, so there was massive confusion (along with the language barrier) on how to enter the premise. There also was no mention of a $30 usd electricitiy deposit at all. Would have been considerate to list that in description so I would know. Quiet street, never had an issues. Otherwise, I would 100 percent come back, place felt like home. There was a set of new Trojan condos in the bedroom nightstand cabinet from the previous guest though. Would be nice if there was also air con unit in the living room.

I stayed at the end of July. I found out this is yhe off season due to it being rainy. the rain never ruined my day and made for peaceful down time in the afternoon. I didn't do much except go to the beach and walk around. I went out to eat a few times. I felt safe in the area as a solo woman traveler. Alex was very close by and very helpful. I usually don't interact with hosts much besides letting them know I've arrived ok. Alex was super friendly and I felt like she treated me like my friends do. She gave me very helpful recommendations and was very kind. I cooked food on the stove to save money because I was there 11 days. There is no oven (but there's a toaster oven) or microwave, but the stove worked great! I do recommend bug spray for the beach and for walking outside. I brought some and they left me alone, but one day I left it at the house and they were all over me. This was the best trip I have ever taken, and I highly recommend Alex's home!

Mi familia y yo estuvimos muy a gusto en el apartamento de Ronaldo. El tambien tiene un buen servicio al cliente y es muy familiar. La ubicacion del apartamento es increible. La unica desventaja para nosotros fue que no tiene parqueo privado y debimos parquear en la calle frontal. Y claro que volveriamos a esta propiedad.

Great space for a visit to Monteverde. The surroundings are great. The distance to the downtown area is not far, but it is very hilly. So not walkable if you are not able to walk many steep hills. But the drive is easy enough. We enjoyed the wildlife around the house as well. Daniela was a great host and very helpful with recommendations.

We had a great week at Marcella & Mo’s house. Plenty of room for 6 adults (3 couples), kitchen was well stocked with pots & pans, plates, glasses etc. We enjoyed the lanai with the pool and hot tub a lot. We went for bike rides and took the kayaks out, all in good condition. We had fun exploring the area and most things are just a short drive away. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent again!

My mother died and her funeral was Easter Weekend. My daughters and I needed a place that would fit us all and cozy enough to stay around. Realmente la señora Diana y Miryam nos hicieron sentir como en casa, nos llevaban café en termos, su amabilidad y disposición fue maravillosa, estamos muy contentos y realmente recomendaríamos las cabañas ya que el sitio es maravilloso, muy natural todo y la casa de piedra donde nos quedamos era muy acogedora con todos los servicios, tenía acceso al lago de manera privada y todo genial. You can book all activities and taxis through them, and have fantastic meals. The accommodation is very well located and well kept. This casa is top quality, and we highly recommend staying with this lovely family!

This cabin has state of the art appliances! We so appreciated the Nija for morning smoothy. The wrap around balcony allows you to watch birds in the jungle that is just a few feet away from the house on all sides. This place is private. The drive in goes through a tunnel of lush and then empties into a carport under the house. Super private. The carport itself has a sink and hose and cleaning supplies. Inside the cabin there are windows in every direction. Birdwatchers you will love it because you don’t have to venture out. Solid furniture, simple non-clutter living space. Getting there you go through a few houses that are very well kept. River close by.

Perfect spot to stop. What a view from the bed in the morning watching sunrise. Toured the La Colina mine spot 500 m south. Superb knowledge and stories about the area and the on going mining in the community. Not to be missed.
