Vacation rentals with lake access in West Indies

Wow definitely going on my favorites list! Gorgeous view out back. Lovely, huge porch. Bathrooms are both in the hallway - not tucked into master bedroom or similar. That wasn’t clear from the photos. Quiet. Super clean. Amazing, generous details like a great variety of snacks and treats. Tons of supplies available like toiletries and towels. Big washer and dryer. Superb and friendly communication from host. Lots of stores and restaurants 15 minutes away. Dollar store about 5 minutes. We parked five vehicles easily. Effortless stay.

This property was perfect for our stay. The a/c worked great. Lots of hot water for our large family. A well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. A large hot tub. A bonus screened building over the canal. My favorite was the porch swing overlooking the water. We saw lots of birds and a few river otters. Frankie met us at check in and showed us everything we needed to know about the property. He was extremely friendly and pleasant to talk with. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet. I would stay here again.

Everything was as described here and perfect for a fishing getaway with a couple of friends. The host was communicative and handled anything that we had to address I would highly recommend.

Excellent accommodations. Great location. Very quiet neighborhood. Definitely worth your money. Highly recommended.

Really can not say enough about how wonderful the home was. I did not need to cook but everything you could need was in the kitchen. Beds were very comfortable, hot water lasted, easy check in/out. Clear instructions. Beautiful and well maintained.

The place was just as described and represented in the photos. Everything was clean and comfortable. The location on the canal was beautiful and the heated pool was great! The location was convenient as long as you have a rental car. Easy to get to and from places you'd want to visit. Chase Stadium (Inter Miami) was only 5 mins away.

We had the pleasure of staying at Amanda and Joe's lake house when we went to Lake Okeechobee for a fishing charter. It truly was perfect and our hosts went above and beyond to make the visit memorable. It was my husband's birthday and they had a card and gift when we arrived! Beautiful, clean, peaceful home and surroundings! We spent most of our time in the backyard on the boat dock, grilling and enjoying nature. We are thankful that we found the lake house and for the wonderful experience! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to visit the area.

Rekah went above an beyond to accommodate me as far as my check in and departure was concerned, also the complementary items she provided was really helpful until i made it to the supermarket. The facility was clean, quiet, beautiful and my family and I felt really safe there. We had all the amenities needed and then some. Beautiful environment to stroll around. The pond, the gezibo, sitting outside on the back porch sipping my mornimg coffee and enjoying to sunshine. It will definitely be a place we return to on other visits to Trinidad.

Curtis is an excellent host always responsive and proactive. The studio was adorable, very peaceful and the neighborhood was very comforting. I highly recommend this location if you like privacy and nice time to set and reflect with nature around you . Cool little place . Not fancy but very comfortable. Set up very well for cooking meals & being self sufficient.

The entire stay was wonderful. The apartment was very clean, with all the amenities we needed. The balcony was amazing with lots of space to lounge and have our morning coffee. The place is near the airport, the city and Te Amo beach. It was very easy to get around and access everything we needed. Quintin greeted us at check in and check out and was very friendly. Overall our best Airbnb experience to date!

Really enjoyed my stay here. I was traveling solo and felt safe in the area and in the home. I loved the lagoon view. It was the perfect reset after being out and about.

Nadine was great! We had a situation with the door and she showed up and fixed it right away! Great place to relax on the dock by the water! Kayak and beach chairs were a plus! Would stay again!

Victoria was an amazing host. Very accommodating, responsive, and friendly. The unit itself was beautiful and equipped with all of our needs, close to the beach, and very private. Highly recommended to all! If you’re choosing between spots or dont know where you’re going to stay, look no more. Will be staying again.

I would highly recommend this well kept property. Everything here is ground level so no neighbors above and easy access to get in the house. This is a quiet peaceful area close to everything. I hope to stay here again next year.

This place is perfect! A true piece of paradise in southern Florida! My wife and I were looking to spend a relaxing, anniversary weekend, sitting back, with no agenda, just enjoying some privacy, surrounded by nature. We got exactly what we were looking for here. The property is beautiful! Trees, plants and flowers everywhere. Everything was maintained perfectly. We had a fire pit, tiki hut, hammocks, hot tub, kayaks, and the entire pool to ourselves while we were there. We spent quite a bit of time just sitting out on the boat dock in the Adirondack chairs enjoying the cool breeze and watching the wildlife. There is a TV in the tiki hut that you can watch while relaxing in the hot tub or sitting at the bar having a glass of wine. Inside you have plenty of everything that you need to feel like home while you're there. Fully stocked kitchen and plenty of extra toiletries in the bathroom in case you left anything behind. We highly recommend this place and will plan another visit for sure

The property is very nice, with a panoramic view of the lagoon. The cabins are themed. We stayed in the Marina cabin, which we found very comfortable and cozy. There is a fireplace with firewood and all the utensils to use. We'll have to go back!

This place was awesome as well as Leonardo in taking care of a MINOR problem with the kitchen stove. The only negative comment I would make would be the mattress on the bed which wasn't very comfortable. With that said, I WOULD consider staying at this property again as it is a GREAT deal for the money.

Lori was a wonderful host! She was proactive, helpful, and responsive. The cottage was exactly as shown in the pictures. I would come back here next time I’m in town!

Great getaway - Beautiful mix of having your own getaway where you are completely alone but if you want into town and enjoy the amazing town of Cayey (which has one the best Plazas in Puerto Rico on the weekends) you can in 20 minutes. Jerry was a great host!

The cabin is a super relaxed place near the city, the weather was excellent. Extremely complete, nothing was missing for the stay. Efraín is a super host. He was attentive to everything, with instructions to visit the natural attractions in the area. Very helpful. Ultimately recommended.

This is the 2nd time my wife and I have stayed at this property. It’s awesome! Clean, quiet and centrally located between. Ft. Myers & Naples. Will be back again.

5 Stars – Peaceful, Restful Escape My husband and I had such a lovely time at this peaceful 1968 cottage. The atmosphere was very zen-like—calm, quiet, and perfect for unwinding. We truly enjoyed the rest and relaxation. The cottage is close to the river and just a little over a mile from the beautiful beaches of Jupiter Island. We also found plenty of great restaurants nearby, which made exploring the area even better. John, the host, was incredibly helpful and accommodating, making sure everything was just right for our stay. If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable retreat with easy access to nature and good food, this is the place. We’d definitely return!
