Our property boasts 130 acres of primary rainforest to explore right on the border of the Corcovado National Park. In order to arrive, you must take an hour and a half boat ride from Sierpe, or a 20 min boat ride from Drake Bay. The boat leaves Sierpe at 11:20am and Drake Bay at ~12:30pm.

Believe all of the 5-star reviews! Malekus Mountain Lodge is pure magic. We were a family of ten ranging in age from 75 to 11, and couldn’t have asked for a better base for our Costa Rican adventures. Each couple had their own room and bathroom which were very clean and comfortable, even without A/C. Fans were provided in every room and it cooled down considerably at nighttime. The communal space, living room and pool area are amazing, and the gardens, trails, bridges and ponds are absolutely stunning. We couldn’t believe how lucky we were to have the place all to ourselves and experience the hospitality of Roger and Rosie and their dog, Bruno. They were wonderful hosts, providing delicious breakfasts, insights into the flora and fauna, and recommendations for restaurants, activities and guides that truly felt authentic - we were usually the only North Americans around. Being conversational in Spanish is helpful. Rent a 4WD and be ready for adventure!

David was a very attentive and friendly host. We came by bus and he also offered a transfer. He has created a beautiful area. The accommodation was perfect and is exactly as described, he also offers tours. He is a biologist who really respects nature. On his tours, we also noticed his enthusiasm for reforestation. His meals were delicious and we felt very comfortable! I was happy to share his enthusiasm and look forward to meeting him again! Pura Vida!

Very unique place to stay! It was an amazing experience. Very private. Breakfast was great! Host was great and responsive! Other than the beach it seems maybe there is not a lot to do if you were staying multiple days. Overall great experience and I would suggest to try it for the night

The Boho Lodge was the perfect location to enjoy quiet, privacy and nature, while being close enough to Montezuma, local restaurants, the beach, and Cabo Blanco. After a day hiking in steamy temperatures, it was great to return to Boho Lodge for a delightful swim in the pool to cool down and recharge. The landscaping, jungle surroundings, howler monkeys calling out greetings, the helpful staff, and William’s recommendations and Pura Vida spirit made it a very special stay.

We loved our stay! Perfectly peaceful and very integrated with nature. Even have some donkey’s to pet! Loved breakfast under the veranda. Pool was delightfully deep. Danita was super responsive, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about things to do all across the island.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour auprès de Ryan, Jenny et leurs enfants dans leur ferme de cacao. Ce sont des personnes très intéressantes et enrichissantes. Le logement est parfait permettant une évasion totale. Nous avons même rencontré leur voisine qui était adorable. S'il y a un seul point négatif qu'on pourrait souligner c'est le fait qu'on n'ait pas forcément accès à une zone de baignade quand on reste plusieurs jours mais après ça reste cohérent par rapport au type de prestation (immersion). Rodolfo sein Häuschen und Grundstück liegen direkt am Cahuita Park. Schon vor der Anreise bekommt man sehr viele Infos was wie wo. Angekommen begrüßte uns seine Freundin und Manfred & Luna (seine Hunde). Alles war sehr schön und man sollte wissen, das men direkt im Dschungel schläft! Brüllaffen, Faultiere und Insekten inkl. Das Frühstück war immer selbst gemacht, landestypisch und frisch - Rodolfo überrascht seine Gäste gern. Der Kaffee nur leeecker und so viel wie man kann… Privatsphäre hat man auch, Rodolfo schläft 50m weiter im eigenen Haus und ist ab und an am Haus herum. Wenn nicht, ist er auf Tour denn er ist Guide; was wir vorher nicht wussten. Eine Kanutour auf dem Fluss oder eine Nachtwanderung durch sein weitläufiges Grundstück sollte man machen. Alles in allem ein perfekter Ort um an der Karibik unmittelbar die Natur zu genießen. Pura Vida

Great Bungalow with fantastic sea view. Staff was very friendly and well organized. I can really recommend the breakfast with fresh fruits. You can directly walk to various beaches and watch out for animals (Monkeys, Slots, Agutis, Birds) along the way. We had great time 😁
