Vacation rentals with a fireplace in West Haven

This was a beautiful home to stay at for our visit to Fairfield University. It was peaceful location near the school. The house itself was gorgeous with everything we needed for our stay. Thank you.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at Alyson & Costa's Fairfield house! It's an absolutely adorable space in a great area. The hosts are responsive, helpful, and kind. I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking to stay in this area!

The house had a lot of space especially with the finished upstairs. The backyard and hot tub was a great bonus.

Incredible historic house in Easton. The description really doesn't even do it justice - this house has soul and history and Carly has done an incredible job with interior design - super stlyish. The place is huge - we rented for Thanksgiving week and everyone had their own space with tiny cozy nooks all over the house. It also boasts the largest wood burning fireplace I have ever seen. Location is woodsy CT, but in 15 minutes you can be in busy Westport with lots of great shops, restaurants, and beaches. We loved it and would come back!

We had a wonderful stay in Brian's charming home. The house is even more luxurious than in the photos--everything is first-class from the beds and linens; to the spacious kitchen with every new appliance you could need; to the comfy living room area with huge flat-screen TV. We had more than enough room for our family of four and our kids loved how close the private beach was, literally out the door. They kayaked and enjoyed walks on the beach. The area is in a very quiet, private neighborhood with close access to the shops and restaurants on Madison's main street. A perfect retreat any time of year, we hope to come back soon.

It was wonderful stay and I’d go back anytime

As someone who is older and a little wobbly, I would like some indication for the edge of the steps going from the kitchen to the living room area. Otherwise the house was beautifully maintained. Beth was very helpful and amiable to our request for a later checkout due to my daughter’s health concerns. For us Floridians the heating system worked wonderfully during a cold week. I would very highly recommend this place to everyone.

The Farmhouse was very cozy and clean. Communication was great and Chelsea was very accommodating, as I was traveling with two small children and the schedules can be tricky. The property was beautiful and the house had everything we needed. The only thing that could be improved would be curtains in the bedrooms. As soon as the sun came up you are up. Very bright. But overall I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Dariel’s very much. Convenient location for our needs. Everything was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely choose this location again and recommend to others!

This apartment is breathtakingly beautiful. It is spotless clean. The environment is so calm and relaxing. I had the most beautiful time here. It looks exactly like the pictures. It’s so clean and smells so beautiful. In a quiet neighborhood that’s a walking distance to all the places. Pamela is so sweet and responsive to all questions and requests. I am definitely going to come back to this place. The best Airbnb ever❤️

The location and comfort can’t be beat. We stayed at the professor’s flat for a full semester while I was teaching at Yale and it was perfect for a couple and a cat. We even had a couple of friends visit and stay over comfortably during that time. We truly lived in the place like it was our home, because it felt like it: it was cozy, and despite a smaller kitchen than we’re used to, it was well equipped, and we were able to cook a lot and even host dinner parties. It’s very conveniently located to everything in New Haven/the East Rock neighborhood & we walked everywhere. Also very convenient to the freeway. A parking spot was included in our rent as well. Remy, Hilary and Sal were always responsive and ready to take care of anything that needed attention. Remy also gave us and all the tenants extras like baked goods, and samples of her great Italian cooking on occasion (around the holidays). They also gave us fire logs for the fireplace we used our entire last month in town.

The place was great! Clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Regina was an excellent host, very responsive and attentive. Highly recommend!

Stayed here last minute and felt very safe especially being alone. Karleen was always responsive and I knew if I had any questions or concerns she would be happy to help. Would stay here again!

We loved it ! It’s beautiful ! The kids had a great time . It’s clean .. the bathrooms are beautiful both of them . It’s right off the highway and we had no complaints what’s so ever ! Billy’s location is ideal for anyone visiting Yale. I had conference calls and needed to work during my visit, this location provided the optimal space for working while traveling. It was a quick walk to the Yale campus and had plenty of eateries in walking distance as well. The kitchen also had all the amenities needed to prepare a quick meal during the week. The apartment was clean, the instructions to get in and out were clear and the convenience of a parking space made a breeze coming and going. I will definitely utilize this location again when visiting my son at Yale.

Our family had a very enjoyable stay! The home and surroundings were beautiful, everything was extremely clean and organized, our host was wonderful! We absolutely loved the tea ceremony! It was very educational! We will definitely stay here again when we return to New Haven!
