We loved this airbnb and stayed for 3 weeks. It sits right on the edge of the marsh with an extraordinary view. We greatly enjoyed how a short walk away is Chaffinch Island, which is a gorgeous park full of tides pools and hackberry trees. The space was clean and comfortable and Mary was a fantastic host. You can see a lighthouse on an island 3 miles out sea from all the rooms, even the main bed.

Ray is an amazing host as is his Airbnb. My friend and I have gone there twice to get away and to write, and it is the perfect location for this. The sound right behind the house is spectacular, as is the beach entry down the street. We took many walks and collected shells and sat outside on the deck to watch the sunsets. The house is not far from New Haven so there were times we would head into town for dinner. Ray is very kind and quickly responded to us when we had questions. The home is beautiful and clean and we hope to go back there again!!

Cail's place is very peaceful, situated right on the tidal flat. It's a short walk away to a semi-private beach and the Audubon Society. The house was a cozy home base for our family. It had all the necessary linens and kitchen equipment needed for our stay. The views from the wall of windows in the back provided great light. We appreciated the thoughtful touches of design throughout the house.

The house had stunning views from every room on all floors. The kitchen was well-equipped for our large family. The owner’s responses to questions about the property were prompt and helpful. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub since it was too early in the season for the swimming pool. My family agreed we would rent again if a reunion is planned.

We enjoyed our stay! Such easy access to the beach was so convenient. You’re definitely better off venturing out after high tide to enjoy the most amount of beach and there are a lot of shells that make being barefoot challenging. We did arrive after major storms which could have contributed to that. The house was spotless with everything you need to be comfortable! We did not utilize the outdoor space but definitely would have if the weather was drier! Definitely would stay here again.

Rented this for six weeks while working in the area, was perfect. I enjoyed it very much. Lots of space everything you could possibly need even down to the toothpaste and brushes, you could seriously just show up completely unprepared and you would have an excellent stay. If I am back in the area for long term again this will be my first search.

This place exceeded our expectations- the listing photos do not do the views justice. Everything else was just as advertised and met or exceeded all of our needs. The entire place was spotless upon arrival, plenty of towels and kitchen wares. Easy simple requests from host for check-out too! This was a long girls weekend with my two adult daughters and we loved it so much we barely left. Our original plan was to fill the weekend with wineries, restaurants and maybe some shopping or sightseeing of the area, we planned a pretty full weekend. However, we loved the views and tranquility of the place so much we BARELY left the house. Over the weekend, we only hit a few wineries, (with great recommendations from the host by the way) then we door-dashed every meal in so we could enjoy the back patio area and the beauty and peace of the beach and views. You won’t be sorry if you book this property. Such an amazing little place, you’ll never want to leave.

Absolutely Magical Stay! I can’t say enough good things about this place! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views. The highlight, hands down, was the serene lake right in the backyard—waking up to the sound of birds and sipping coffee with that view felt like a dream. We especially loved the complimentary kayaks! Paddling around the lake during sunset was pure magic—calm waters, golden skies, and total tranquility. It felt like our own private retreat away from the world. This Oceanfront Getaway has amazing views of the ocean from all over the house. We sat on the deck and watched the tide come in, we cooked dinner and watched the tide go out. My family and I took long walks down the very quite beach (right outside the back gate). This section of beach seems to only be used by the people that live in the neighborhood so it did feel almost like a private beach. My kids found so many large sea shells they had trouble picking a few favorites to bring home. There were lots of great places to eat within a short drive. I highly recommend any of the G Cafe and Bakery locations for a great coffee and/or breakfast treat. It was also fun to explore some of the smaller towns nearby like Branford and Niantic both of which offered unique shopping experiences. Marc and team were super responsive and provided many amenities like laundry soap, dish soap, coffee, and creamers. We had so much fun we look forward to a return trip in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming waterfront apartment in Guilford, CT. The location is unbeatable—steps from the beach, with boutique shops and cafes nearby. The weather in early October was perfect—cool, crisp, and sunny, ideal for exploring. We visited the Henry Whitfield State Museum and enjoyed Guilford Center’s unique shops and eateries, especially The Spice & Tea Exchange, where we picked up amazing spice blends and teas. The apartment is cozy, with stunning views of Long Island Sound. We loved relaxing on the private patio while watching the sunset. Kim, our host, was kind, responsive, and made our stay seamless. Overall, a peaceful retreat perfect for relaxing by the water. Highly recommended!

Our family loved staying here! It was a perfect fit for us (2 adults upstairs & 2 young teen kids in their own room) + grandma downstairs (so no fall hazard!) The views were perfect and added bonus for my kids to burn off steam even in the chilly weather. The open layout downstairs worked great. We weren’t there for many meals so didn’t utilize the kitchen to its fully potential. Jonathan was very responsive and polite with any questions I had during our stay. It was a lovely place that worked out perfectly during our time spent visiting family in CT!

We very much enjoyed our stay!! The entrance doors are so unique and special, and the apartment was perfect! We traveled with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We were greeted with very clear instructions to the property and parking. We arrived very late at night, and had no issues with getting into the apartment. The teenagers were thrilled to find treats left for us. We especially love the special touch of the postcards of the property! There was plenty of room for all of us to stay comfortably. We highly recommend this apartment.

we rented La Spiaggia in December, and while it's mostly going to be more beautiful and better in the summer (since it's a beach house) it was still perfectly fine in the winter; well insulated and with good strong heaters. speaking of the beach I can't stress enough of how close this place is to the water; I'm talking literally ten steps to the sand. I would certainly recommend the place as a great summer getaway!

The place is stunning. The views and being right on the beach is priceless. We stayed with two kids and a dog. Would want to buy the place that is how much we loved it! Everything is there as described and more. The piano was great for the kids! Chelsea is super helpful and nice. Finally again an AirBnB that feels like home.
