Kid-friendly vacation rentals in West Hants

Catherine's place was just what we were looking for, great for our group of 9, walking distance to restaurants, private and lots of bedrooms. We would not hesitate booking it again. And she was responsive, friendly and helpful.

This was the second time that I stayed at Kit's Airbnb. It was great both times. The carriage house is spacious and well equipped for everything you could want for a short or long term stay. The location is perfect as you can walk to any location in town. This time we had a meal at Church Brewing Company which was excellent. We would also recommend visiting the many wineries. Many have wonderful views and serve meals (e.g. Luckett's and Lightfoot and Wolfville). There are many things to do in the area. This time we went to Tangled Garden and wandered their fantastic and unusual gardens, also purchased several products. I hope to return and to stay in the Carriage House in the future. Cathy

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect to visit the surrounding area such as the local Wineries, Lunenburg and Peggy’s Cove. At the end of the day, the log home was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a sunset on the lake. We made great memories this week. Thank you for sharing this beautiful log home with us.

Great location for a weekend wedding we attended at Lightfoot & Wolfville. The space is well-equipped, the scenery beautiful and Jill was very responsive as a host.

Nice and quiet place. Loved property location by the river. It was clean and well maintained. Enjoyed sun at the dock and canoe. Very relaxing and fun trip.

This chalet was perfect for our family to relax after a long day of hiking /touring. If you were a golfer, you couldn't beat it! Even though we're not golfers, with the greens across an adorable frog pond with bank swallows flying all around, it was a private and quiet setting. Clean, modest, and well appointed, their chalet was wonderful and just as advertised! Thank you!

The place was great and very spacious for my whole family to stay. We were a family of 7 adults and 1 baby and it accommodated us just fine with plenty of room. Stephen was a great host and was very responsive to any needs or questions that I had. Would definitely stay again.

Grant’s Place was an absolute gem—a true home away from home! Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, this heritage home wrapped us in warmth and charm. The delightful snacks were such a sweet touch, making our stay feel extra special! I also loved the thoughtful maps that guided us around, and the absence of a lengthy handbook of rules made everything feel so breezy and welcoming. Just a hop away from Wolfville and Downtown Windsor, it’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to unwind and explore! Highly recommend this fantastic retreat!

The apartment was exactly what we wanted for a comfortable, clean stay. Great little kitchen for a quick breakfast. Quite a few really cute coffee shops and pubs within minutes of walking. We found the first night in the place a bit warm but the second night cooled down and was great. The bed was large and comfortable and the sheets were fantastic quality! Kristen was so fast to respond to all our questions and very proactive about getting us detailed information about the place. Overall would definitely recommend!

Fantastic location. Within walking distance to much of what Wolfville has to offer, yet in a quiet peaceful location.Blair was very helpful, proactive, responsive from beginning to end. The unit is cozy but spacious. Extremely comfortable. We look forward to returning. Highly recommend this property.

My Husband and I were very pleased with our accommodation for our stay in Wolfville. It was a nice walk to the many restaurants Wolfville has to offer. Karla has put a lot of thought into making sure her accommodation is well stocked with not only the necessities but many extra amenities to ensure a seamless stay. We will certainly book again if need be.

A sweet comfortable apartment on a quiet street but right in the center of Wolfville. Everything well maintained and spotlessly clean. Easy self check in and host responded quickly to minor questions. Would absolutely recommend!

If you are thinking of starting an Airbnb then stay here because you will see the gold standard that they have set and you should aim to follow, it's really great when you get to house and it exceeds your expectations in all ways, nothing was too much bother, great hosts and a great property, many thanks to you both.
