Vacation rentals with lake access in West Coast

We had a wonderful break at The Lake Retreat. This home was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean & so very peaceful. The kitchen had everything you could wish for & would be suitable for large groups. We appreciated the comfy beds, quality linen, towels & bath products that were provided for our stay. There were many extra touches to make you feel welcome & at home. Peter was always friendly & fantastic with all communications. I would highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone wishing to get away from it all in this area of Tasmania. Thank you for having us, we would love to return some day 🙂

the house was stunning, nice and super clean! it was so lovely as photos. the host was very responsive and there were full kitchen utensils a all we need. we were there later evening and did not know where to get some food, but there were some frozen food, packs of noodle and cereals. we were so pleased and really thankful to the host that they have provided some emergency food for the guests. we really recommend this place , and will definitely stay here again! cheers

Kate's place was a fabulous place to stay with my doggo. One of the most generously well-equipped kitchen's I've experienced, super comfortable beds, warm and homely and a stunning view across the lake! Kate is a wonderfully warm and kind host, easy and responsive communication. I highly recommend Kate's place and will definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay at Nina's place, the view was amazing and the area so peaceful. Good place to explore the north and east of Tasmania, with the addition of having the local wildlife visiting the back garden twice a day. We would highly recommend this Air Bnb.

We stayed 5 nights and really enjoyed exploring the local area. An easy drive to Cradle Mountain and Corinna. It was wonderful to relax at the beautiful accommodation at the end of each day.

Everything was great! We've enjoyed the location and the fireplace a lot, it's very cozy. The place was clean and tidy. There is no wifi, but there's some cell phone coverage both with Vodaphone and Optus with 4G

The location was perfect for our fishing weekend. We enjoyed exploring the area centrally located in the highlands close to many lakes. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend Mick and his property highly enough.

We really enjoyed our stay at Anna’s place. Penguin is a beautiful coastal town with friendly locals and lots of great amenities. The house is in a great location right on a park and we loved feeding the ducks there. We hope to come back one day.

I loved staying at Little Bird. So arty and creative, so peaceful and relaxing. Lots of options to sit and eat or drink or read and relax. It is a very special place.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable property for two nights, and it was an experience we won't soon forget. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the serene ambiance and breathtaking surroundings. The private jetty was a standout feature, offering the perfect spot to unwind and relax and enjoy the fishing. We spent evenings gathered around the fire pit, listening to music with the outdoor speakers under the starry sky – a truly magical experience. The well-appointed kitchen was a delight for anyone who enjoys cooking. It had everything we needed to prepare delicious meals, and we appreciated the high-quality appliances and thoughtful touches throughout. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep and we enjoyed stunning views from almost every room in the house! Highly recommend.!

Little cottage is way to beautiful and cosy, most important clean and smells fresh. Pictures do not do justice to the place. After a day of driving and walking, awesome place for rest and rejuvenate. Not a lot of stuff or place to cook but fantastic kitchen gadgets and utensils and there is a lovely Tavern right opposite. Loved the little table and chair for morning coffee. Stuart are a host is very warm and funny. I had a little hiccup and he jumped into help almost immediately, very responsive host. Solo travellers or a couple, perfect fit.

A beautiful quiet farm stay. Susan and Frank were a pleasure to deal with. An abundance of farm fresh eggs which we turned into the yummiest breakfast omelets. A beautiful garden setting.

We had a wonderful time exploring the west coast and this Airbnb was amazing for us to come back and relax and get cozy. Will definitely book again if I go back to the west coast.

Janmaree got a really lovely boathouse which is situated just next to the pier! The view is amazing and when it comes to the sunset time it becomes absolutely stunning! The location itself is very good for us as we were looking for a place close enough to the Lowhead so that we can get back easily after the penguin tour, and also not too far from the Launceston Airport for our flight in the afternoon the next day. And the gin distillery just opposite to the house is also a gem!

Phil and Marita's cottage is lovely. It was a real treat to stay in such a cosy and beautiful space. We loved the open stone fireplace, eating together at the gorgeous dining table, snuggling down into the soft sheets and pillows, and enjoying our morning coffee while gazing out at the fields and trees (first in sun and then in mist--glorious in both states). We particularly loved the variety of books to dip into, and our daughter loved seeing Jonesy, the cows, and an echidna. We also enjoyed our trip to see the local penguins :) Our favourite thing about the cottage was that it felt like a genuine home. It's a special space. We'd like to come back!
