This apartment adjacent to the family home is the perfect place to spend a few days exploring the local area. The semi rural neighbourhood is whisper quiet while allowing easy access to the surrounding towns with the use of a car. Barb has made every effort to ensure the comfort of her guests with homely touches, attention to detail and meticulous cleaning. The well equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals with a full size refrigerator and dishwasher. The king sized bed is comfortable and furnished with pristine linen and generous pillows. The modern bathroom has plentiful hot water and supplies and there is a large laundry for the use of guests. Barb and Daniel were most welcoming when we met. We feel fortunate to have met them and are so grateful for their generous hospitality.

We had a wonderful family weekend getaway at Lori’s Glass House! The place was serene, beautifully maintained, and perfect for unwinding. Lori was an exceptional host—her communication was clear, timely, and super helpful throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the fresh eggs she generously provided and all the thoughtful guidance she shared to make our experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a peaceful and well-hosted retreat!

The Silk Purse is the perfect little getaway for a quick weekend. My girlfriend and I love the area and are so glad we found this location. the house is nicely laid out and cozy. It's also perfectly placed on a beautiful windy road if you like to feel the rolling hills.

Susanne and John were fabulous hosts. My father was transitioning from his home into a retirement community in Honey Brook, so the location was perfect. He stayed for six weeks and as you can imagine, he was anxious about moving, but felt very comfortable immediately, and really enjoyed his stay. It was a perfect location and space for him.
