Belle Cottage, cosy quiet cottage in town.

GrahamRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The cottage is lovely; very well equipped, particularly the kitchen. It is a comfortable stay and an easy 5 minute walk to the town. But renters should be aware that parking directly outside is not easy, and they should be prepared to pay in the nearby car park.

The most beautiful and cosy house

A really lovely cottage, comfortable and cute. Great area for walking the dogs, and some really good places to eat, on a short and easy walk into Kingsbridge. (Or a long and hard walk depending on which direction you go!)

Stunning Cottage in West Alvington near Salcombe

GailRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Great little cottage in a lovely area. Only a 10-15 minute walk into Kingsbridge. (Up hill on the way back). There’s a bus stop at the top of the road that we used a lot. Mainly to get to Salcombe for a walk and then finish up in the pub 😉. Lovely beaches nearby. South Milton, Hope Cove, North and South Sands near Salcombe are all worth a visit. Just be aware that the stairs in the cottage are very steep and narrow, so anyone with mobility issues may struggle. The bed was very comfortable and soft towels were provided. There is a small parking space in front of the disabled space outside the cottage, but it is a narrow lane so we parked round the corner where the road was wider.

Central Spacious Ground Floor Flat with Courtyard

GeoffRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Very pleasant, tatefully furnished & well equipped apartment, perfectly situated opposite the quay, so ideal for walkable access to the town. Very comfortable bed, & warm in the apartment for our stay in March. Very helpful and clear instructions from the host. There isn’t an allocated parking space, so you will need to find non- restricted, on-street parking nearby. Not a problem for us in March, during busier times you may need to use the car park directly across the street. A very enjoyable stay and would use again

We had a lovely stay. What a quiet peaceful place. The children really enjoyed the garden and were made most welcome to play there. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Thoroughly recommended. Hope to stay again in the future.

PalmHouse, Cosy Kingsbridge studio couple /Family

AdamRating, 5 stars5 days ago
'The Palm House' is described as straightforward, quirkly, and comfortable. It is exactly this. And it's the right type of 'quirky'. Everything is tastefully done yet functionality is perfectly preserved and little yet important practical touches are welcomed and noticed, eg a small carafe of fresh milk was in the fridge on arrival. After a 5hr drive, to be able to just make a cup of tea was wonderful. I stayed here with my 7yo son as a base for the area and it's perfect for this but also you'd be quite happy just chilling here for days to be frank; it has everything you need and is as much fun for adults as children. The thought that has gone into this place is beyond words, highly recommended! Adam & Dan
