We have canoes and bicycles for rent. The cottage is located on a small-scale recreational site with 5 cottages and space for 10 campers.

De inrichting is een combinatie van warme kleuren, materialen, moderne en klassieke meubelen, met veel woonaccessoires. Het wordt vaak vergeleken met een Charles Dickens sfeer. Omdat het huis midden in Fryslân ligt is het perfect voor uitstapjes, naast lekker uitrusten en genieten. Maar natuurlijk ook heerlijk naar Leeuwarden.

U slaapt op de begane grond (2 sk + eigen badk.+eigen keuken+ eigen grote woonkamer (50 m2) met hoge plafonts en openhaard. eigen ingang. 3e slaapkamer is boven via het voorhuis. Buiten aan het water je eigen terras. Ook geschikt voor groeps werk met een grote werk tafel. Vintage dus mooi, oud en gezellig. Maar niet spotless.

The 2 city parks Prinsentuin and Vossenpark are around the corner and you can almost see the famous Tower of the Oldenhove from the garden. The area is great for cycling, hiking, boating, mountain biking, canoeing, birding and fishing. The Alde Feanen has a special population of plants and birds, including the sea eagle, osprey, bittern and kingfisher. In addition, chances are that you will see deer and hares running past from the cottage.
