Great accommodation. Very cozy and beautiful. Everything was very clean and organized. The distance to the train station is about 10 minutes, not too long. Communication was always clear and fast too. We loved it!

It’s amazing place to stay.

My mother and I enjoyed our stay at this Chalet very much. Honestly, it was tiring to drag our luggage on the steep hill on our first day, but as soon as we entered the Chalet, we felt right at home! We took the local bus 123, which comes every hour. With a Grindelwald guest pass, local buses are free. We didn’t know it was free, so we paid each time. So please take advantage and make sure to check out the bus schedule ahead of time to plan your day. The bed was comfortable, not too firm and not too soft. The kitchen was well cleaned and maintained, although some items need to be replenished or updated. There is a fondue pot and we had a fodue dinner one evening, which was fun! Please note there is no microwave. I turned on the oven at the lowest setting, turned off, then heated food from residual heat.The bathroom was clean too with good water pressure. We appreciated a hair dryer. Surrounded by the Grindelwald’s beautiful mountains, the Chalet is a true gem! We will stay again?

We truly enjoyed our stay here. We loved it's proximity to both bus stations, corner grocery store, to the train station and a short walk to Lake Brienz. Best location in my opinion. The house was quite lovely, had everything you needed to feel at home. Kim was approachable, very accomodating and responsive to my messages. You'll definitely enjoy your stay here. This place is amazing! Breathtaking views of the mountains. Very accessible to train, restaurants, and grocery store. At the same time, it was far enough away from the busy hotel area so that it was quiet and peaceful. We stayed for 5 days and used it as our base camp to explore the Interlaken area. The space is perfect for two people with everything we needed. We also appreciated access to a washer and dryer (small extra fee). Finally, Myriam and her family are genuinely friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others!

This is the best B&B I've ever stayed in Switzerland! In the homestay on the dreamy hillside, the owner's family lives upstairs, and there is a room in the middle of the first floor for guests to use.The room is fully equipped, especially the kitchen, it feels like I'm back home.It's convenient to cook anything.The bedding and linens in the room are very comfortable and clean.The B&B has its own parking space, which is very convenient.It is quiet, fresh air, beautiful scenery, and suitable for holidays.I also saw the owner and the children, and said hello in a friendly way.In addition to the beautiful view of the house, there is a fierce raccoon cat near the room, who is good at catching mice, is very spoiled, and I like it very much.Sunrise, sunset, any time is beautiful, looking forward to the next opportunity to come back.

The location and the condition of the house were so good. If I come to Switzerland next time, I want to come again. We rested comfortably before heading out. Thank you.

This air B and B was absolutely amazing and we are already planning our next trip to stay again. Fred and Emily were great hosts, a friendly welcome but never intrusive considering they live above. We had everything we needed and were impressed with what was provided, tea, coffee, cleaning products etc. The location was perfect, a few minutes drive to Interlaken but peaceful surroundings and gorgeous views of the mountains. A short walk to the lake and a minute walk to the bus stop. We arrived by car and had ample space to park which was important for us. The accommodation was spotless and perfectly matched descriptions. The only thing we didn't use was the small "pool" as this hadn't been set up and wasn't very private which was a shame but it didn't bother us and I'm sure if we had of asked, the hosts would have made this available. Overall we would 100% recommend and plan to stay again. Thank you Fred and Emily for a wonderful stay, we have fallen in love with Switzerland.

Pricilla went above and beyond our expectations.

The view is everything! Must have a car if in this area, garage is provided and nice to have. The washer and dryer is very convenient. Home is well depicted in pictures. Television is upstairs only. A big plus is the access to the hotel spa and pool, very conveniently located just a 2 min walk. The mattress in our opinion was far too soft for our liking but that is our preference. Overall nice place and would recommend. If we are looking to stay in the same area again we would be happy to come back.

warm and cozy house. remind you of your own house. a lot of space with 3 bedrooms excellent view of mountain and next to train tracks beside the river complete kitchen and host also provide some fruit and bread for us with washing machine and dryer one minor issue. ceiling quite low. if ppl more than 180cm may feel cramped overall...5 star..

I had a fantastic stay at Beatrice’s place. Everything was super clean and I had everything I needed. Beatrice was also very friendly and the views were amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Grindelwald.

Hanna and Ernst where the perfect hosts. They were there to greet us and there to farewell us. When we arrived, there were little Lindt chocolates and fruit for us to have and Hanna also gave us a sample of her homemade rhubarb cake. The scenery from the windows was breathtaking and they also had an outdoor area for us to use. Anything you need to know about the area, they were able to help. Thank you for having us in your home.

Our stay at Chalet Emmely was truly exceptional, and three things in particular made it unforgettable: First, the host. Anita is a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. She greeted us upon arrival and took the time to walk us through the property, explaining everything we needed to know. Her kindness and attention to detail made us feel instantly at home. Second, the accommodations. The suite is spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully stocked, and all the amenities are modern and high quality. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into creating a cozy and functional space. Third, the location. Chalet Emmely offers breathtaking views of Grindelwald and the surrounding mountains. It’s private and peaceful, yet close enough to the town center for shopping, or catching public transport. Chalet Emmely is a 10/10 in every way, and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

The view of the Eiger North Wall was great, and the cooking facilities inside were perfect. It was a truly amazing experience to be able to dine with a view of the mountains. Two people stayed, but it seemed that more people could be accommodated, and the accommodation was cleanly managed.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Grindelwald! The location is absolutely stunning — surrounded by mountains, with goats and horses nearby adding to the charm of the alpine setting. It's peaceful and scenic, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Connectivity was surprisingly convenient. Bus 122 stops just a 2-minute walk from the house (Mettenberg stop), making it easy to reach most places. The bus service runs until around 6 PM, but even without it, the walk from the Grindelwald train station is manageable — about 25 minutes through beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the natural beauty of Grindelwald with the comforts of a well-connected location!

Andrea's Airbnb was a nice 3-night stay for me in the middle of a much longer trip. I needed a place to decompress, do laundry, and recover from international flights and jetlag. Andrea's condo in Spiez was a spacious and convenient choice. The condo is a short walk from the picturesque town and the train station, and the neighborhood was very quiet while I was there. I agree with the suggestion to take the bus up the hill from the train station to the stop near the condo if you are carrying luggage or groceries. I also agree with reviewers that mentioned the lack of a microwave, which was OK for a short stay but I would miss if I rented for a longer time. The grocery store is near the train station and walkable. I will caution that almost everything in town is closed on Sunday, so if you arrive on a Saturday then pick up enough groceries to tide you over to Monday. There's a small convenience store at the train station if you have to buy on Sunday. I would stay here again.

We stayed for 5 nights. We were able to check in without any problems because they explained everything in detail with photos. And the clean bathroom, well-organized kitchen, comfortable bedroom, and the best view in balcony were fantastic. We traveled to Luzern- Mt Rigi, Interlaken, and Grindelwald for 5days. The location was also good to travel there. It seems to be the best accommodation for those who are looking for a clean, quiet, well-located, and good view accommodation in Interlaken.

Incredible place in the most beautiful location! Eva’s place was fantastic, well equipped, offered incredible sweeping views, quiet nights—perfect for a peaceful retreat with access to daytime adventures and great meals. The location is perfect for accessing basic services and some great meals and beach spots. It’s also a short drive/ride to the heat of Thun, offering vibrant culture, great meals and swimming in the lake/river. Oberhofen also seems to be a pretty central spot on lake Thun to other towns and driving into mountains. For anyone working while there, the WiFi was great and I experienced zero issues with connectivity or speed. AMAZING trip overall - loved it!

Helen‘s place in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland is one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in! It was clean, nicely decorated and we had a lot of space. The washer and dryer were so useful.
