Chalet vacation rentals in Wengen

I spent a weekend here for my birthday and I am so grateful I was able to spend my time there. It was more than I could ask for, awesome.

Very clean and tidy house with large rooms and good value for money. Me and my friend four people stayed very comfortably.

Astrid was a great host and the location was beautiful. Both Astrid and Simon were extremely accommodating and welcoming, and I would 100% recommend this beautiful location to anyone looking to enjoy a serene escape in nature, with Thun being just a short drive away.

Rita’s apartment is very centrally located near the Grindelwald station. It was very comfortable with an extra storage room for ski equipment and suitcases. Our family of 4 had plenty of space and felt very much at home. Please note that like most places in Grindelwald there is a 30m elevation so those travelling by train with a lot of luggage should plan ahead. We highly recommend this home.

Sara's chalet is beutiful, spacious, ready for a nice staying with all amenities in place. Recommended nice cozzy place & we would look forward for others to come

Ons verblijf in deze woning was fantastisch. We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw, die ons meteen op ons gemak stelde en alles goed uitlegde. De woning was schoon, comfortabel en goed uitgerust, met een fijne sfeer in elke kamer. De bedden waren heerlijk, en de keuken had alles wat we nodig hadden voor een gezellig diner. De gastvrijheid van de gastvrouw maakte het verblijf extra speciaal. Ze gaf ons uitstekende tips over de omgeving en was altijd bereikbaar voor vragen. De locatie was ideaal, rustig maar toch dichtbij het centrum. We hebben ook genoten van het mooie terras, waar we vaak buiten konden zitten. Kortom, een perfect verblijf! Wij raden deze woning van harte aan.

Great host! Very nice and fast response to questions. Wasn’t sure where to throw trash and how the dish washer works. The freezer wasn’t working properly. but overall great stay and clean!

Ein Traum-Chalet! Gemütlich, ruhig und zentral gelegen, modern ausgestattet, gute Heizung. Freundlicher Gastgeber, einfache Kommunikation, toller Service! Ich kann die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

we had an amazing time spent during winter holidays ❤️ the cozy atmosphere, well equipped house, located in the core of touristic direction was exactly what we searched. the classic fashioned reach quality house make you feel you relaxed, spending time with family. a vague of space in house and good house plan allows to stay with children and have a house party not disturbing guests. in a well equipped kitchen we had a number of dishes, that allowed to taste different ideas we had within a year the view. this is something that will be hard to find even in panorama express, bcs the view on Thun lake and mountains made us just to freeze and look.. no photo that would repeat that view. this is memorable for dozens of years Thanks Jand and family- this is a real family fortress, cozy and warm welcoming.

Jenny was so helpful and responsive. We opted to walk to and from the train station at arrival and departure, and had no problem. It is uphill from the train to the unit, but via a wide paved path, so navigating with luggage was okay. The views from every window are unreal. We enjoyed sitting out on the various balconies. Easy walk to the Wengen Männlichen cable car, with various incredible hikes setting off from the top. Would stay here again.

We have had a wonderful stay at Tatjana’s place. It is a beautiful home, very spacious, with a lovey eclectic interior that makes you feel at home instantly. All nice bedrooms, a well equiped kitchen, 2 areas where you can dine, 2 great living rooms (one with a nice fire place) and lots of practical areas (f.e. space near the entrance where you can leave your ski gear, a big laundry room etc.). You have two options to get to the house. You can walk the road where also the taxi would take you to the house or you have to walk about 100 steps to get to the road where you can walk into Wengen in about 10 minutes. The view is great, the house is at a beautiful spot. You can stay there very quietly and comfortable, but it is also close to Wengen and the more lively areas. Best of both worlds in our opinion.

I loved this chalet. It was tastefully decorated, cozy and lots of surrounding glass to enjoy the amazing view. The open layout was conducive to family gathering and the place had everything we needed. The only thing that caught me off guard was the location noted being near a ski lift leading me to believe it was ski in/ski out however the reality was you needed to make a 20 minute walk into town to retrieve your skis from a depot and take a train to the lifts from there. Regardless, even though the walking distance was less than convenient and a shuttle was offered, I absolutely loved the opportunity to start and end my days with the stunning surroundings it offered. We took the shuttle only once preferring to walk even after a long day of skiing and it never felt onerous. If you have physical limitations it might not be ideal but I would otherwise highly recommend this chalet and the location—I would absolutely book this place again. Nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire dans ce magnifique chalet niché au cœur des montagnes! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été charmé par l'ambiance chaleureuse et le style authentique de la décoration en bois, qui rend le lieu à la fois confortable et accueillant. Le chalet est très bien équipé et les hôtes très sympathique, attentionné et surtout disponibles. Si vous rechercherez un séjour au calme, entouré par la nature, ce chalet est l'endroit parfait. Nous repartons avec des souvenirs inoubliables et recommandons ce lieu sans hésiter !!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Das Haus war sauber, gemütlich und bestens ausgestattet. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Dank der ruhigen Lage und der liebevollen Einrichtung konnten wir perfekt entspannen. Klare Empfehlung – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Maria is an exceptional host who made our stay unforgettable. She warmly welcomed us, picking us up from the train station and giving us a delightful tour of Interlaken and the surrounding area. Her kindness and hospitality shone through, making her a truly remarkable person. The house was immaculate, stunningly beautiful, and felt like a true home away from home. We were reluctant to leave and can’t wait to return!

Gabriella supported me in bringing my luggage to the room and let me use her kitchen with all of the cooking tools (spoons, ingredients, fruits, pots, cookers,...) The house and the room were decorated so beautifully and she really has a good taste! Every corner of the house and the garden in front of the room are very beautiful. There is a forest behind the house and a big blue lake in front of it. It's about a 10-minute walk to the nearest bus stop, and from there we can go to the Interlaken station. However, there was a disadvantage of the house that it was on the hill, so I had to bring two 20"-bags to go up the house T^T I nearly died of that =))) Generally speaking, I love the house and the experience I had here.

Absolutely beautiful studio in a lifetime memorable location. It was very easy to travel the area and return to the studio, all from public transit or walking. The bus station was four minutes easy walk from the studio will take you anywhere in the area. The clothes washer availability with soap, drying rack, and bed-mounted reading light were really helpful. We would absolutely stay again!

My stay at the property was excellent! The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect, and the host was very friendly and accommodating. I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend it to others.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans le chalet. L'emplacement est très agréable malgré un peu de bruits dû à la circulation. Proche du lac et des différentes activités à faire autour. Stephan et Anna sont très réactifs et chaleureux. Merci pour cette semaine qui a été une découverte pour nous, nous en garderons d'excellents souvenirs !
