Cabin vacation rentals in Wembury

Wow! What a place! It sounds a cliche but we will definitely be visiting again! Next time for more than one evening. We’re already looking through the diary for the next available weekend. It was everything we expected and more. We stayed as it was as close to an event we were attending that evening. Upon arrival we were worried about getting a taxi to an event as uber didn’t work well in the area. Jill (the host) kindly asked what time we needed to be there and what time we needed to be collected and she organised it all. She really went above and beyond what was expected and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for more

We had such a lovely, peaceful stay at Tim’s place. The lodge is even better than the photos and the quality of beds, linen, etc was really high quality - both the adults and children in our group all slept better than at home! The hot tub was a real highlight for us, brilliant size and ready for us to use as soon as we arrived. Tim was really responsive and available to answer any questions we had. Loved the location - highly recommend visiting “Outside” up the lane for a bite to eat and a drink

We had a great stay, 4 adults & 3 dogs. The chalet was roomy, clean and homely. The hot tub on the balcony was amazing with wonderful views. There were countryside walks around the site as well as activities. We will definitely recommend it to friends and family and hopefully return in the near future.

Loved our stay , was very cosy and pretty place. had everything we needed inside. Hot tub and fire were a bonus. All the animals on the farm were lovely to see. layout was great. greta stay

Beautiful stay in a lovely peaceful area. Check in was as easy as it could be and Julie was very responsive with any questions I had. 5 star stay and would definitely recommend and visit again

If you like quiet & rural this place is for you. Beautiful surroundings, quiet single track location, the site is well maintained & laid out with activities onsite. Laundry room is a bonus if your a family. Dogs felt right at home with the surroundings too. Would love to visit again.

What a fantastic location and lodge! Both the sitting room and main bedroom faced the lake. We made use of the hot tub and the town/village of Bovey Tracey was a few mins by car. You could walk into town. Very quiet and peaceful, absolutely perfect for us. The amenities in the lodge were more than sufficient. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

As we were staying for 2 nights to attend a convention in Kenford, the cabin was perfect for our needs. Lovely and quiet and a well thought out conversion. Exactly what we needed.

A wonderful, peaceful, convenient weekend retreat for a couple and their dog (s). This cabin is beautifully presented and has everything you need. We did a bit of outside cooking on the brilliant fire pit, had some lovely walks to the nearby Tor’s and dined out at a pub just 4 miles away. The weather was wonderful and spent of our time at the cabin sat outside listening to the bird song and soaking up the tranquility. We look forward to visiting again next year. Amazing getaway - you wouldn't know there are other people staying nearby as it is so quiet. Peaceful, relaxing and a great place to use as a base to explore Dartmoor and Hay Tor. Me and the dog loved it!

Just returned from a wonderfully, peaceful and relaxing stay, the location of the property is great, the views were spectacular, the hosts gave us all the information we needed and the property was exactly as the pictures showed and better, The property was very private a spotlessly clean, it was a great place to take our dog with many country side walks nearby Cannot recommend this property enough

What a great find! The Log Cabin was a perfect base for the pair of us exploring Devon. After busy days on the coast or in Dartmoor, it was great to BBQ in the big garden, watching evening fall and the swallows dart about. It’s compact but doesn’t feel like that owing to Belinda’s clever use of space and décor. The pictures are accurate. Whatever space you’re in feels spacious and even sumptuous. I could be in the kitchen happily doing my thing while my partner lounged in the pleasant living room. Belinda is a great host, very helpful, coming to our rescue several times. We look forward to returning.

Clean house with great smelling linen. Peaceful place with beautiful view. No fuss or complication. The host left us a delicious home-made cake to welcome us. Didn't want for anything. Loved it. Would go back in a shot.

This was a surprise find for us. We thought as usual there is one killer photo cropped and the rest is a let down. Not in this case! Superb vacation with views from every room. Calms the soul. Nice little moments and differing from various sofas. The kitchen and furniture is more than you’ll need. Outdoor deck very impressive. Can’t recommend enough! Will be back! Jealous we don’t own this

Great place to stay and in local distance of great places to visit, eat and travel around. Jane was really helpful in providing recommendations and her instructions on how to arrive, get onsite etc were accurate and timely. Definitely recommend 👍🏻

Had a lovely few days getaway. Shepherds hut was cozy with a lovely little patio. The bed was really comfortable and the accommodation had everything as described in the listing. David & Jan were great hosts. Responded to all messages and queries really quickly. Flexible and relaxed check in and out. Nice friendly people. Would definitely recommend and will be stopping again in the future.

Absolutely phenomenal lodge set in a beautiful and serene environment. Quite literally the perfect getaway for some R&R. Jamie and Phil were fantastic hosts - both very welcoming, personable and responsive to any queries. Would recommend without a second thought.

Jo was great, very helpful and friendly. Quick to respond to anything, place was spotlessly clean, 5 min walk to the beach front, it's just as quick to walk as it is to drive if you feel like walking, parking at the beach is around £10.00 per day at the long stay car park, if you park by Costa it's restricted parking time ( Short Stay Car Park 3 hours ) so bare that in mind as the parking inspectors are red hot with giving tickets, I used to live in Devon so I am aware of these things but useful to know if you are visiting. For the price and location you can't go wrong at Jo's place. Many thanks to Jo for being a great host, we will see you again next time we are coming down to visit our daughter.

The lodge was beautiful—spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Robert’s communication was excellent; he was a pleasure to deal with throughout. The holiday park itself was fantastic, featuring a great indoor swimming pool with a slide and excellent evening entertainment for the whole family. It’s also in a perfect location for exploring Paignton, Brixham, and other stunning areas in Devon.
