Beautifully restored 1 bedroom coaching barn

Our coach house is the perfect hideaway, full of history and original features and modern luxuries! There’s an original tack room with writing on the walls dated 1900s, winding staircase to the 1st floor- superking bedroom, shower room and living/diner with toaster, crockery, tea making facilities. Wem town is a 5 minute walk- pubs, cafes, takeaways, restaurants and shops, train station is 2 minutes, and walking- we’re by the Shropshire way so plenty of long walks! Note-stairs are steep!

Jemima’s cottage, cosy and comfortable!

Cosy cottage adjacent to the owners listed property, situated in a small hamlet.Jemima’s has views of the surrounding countryside and a small private garden with garden furniture ,ample parking and WiFi.There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms the main bedroom also has shower and wc . There is a fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable living room. Shrewsbury is a 20 mins drive away . There isn’t a washing machine in the cottage but guests are welcome to use ours if they need to.

Getting around we would suggest you have a car or bike as there is no public transport or cabs. Please note we are a working farm so you will see and hear tractors during your stay. Our family are also keen equestrians so you will also see horses. There is also a Glamping Cabin in the field so you may see other guests during your stay.

The property is a renovated clockmaker's cottage with plenty of original features. It is set in a rural location, situated amongst dairy farms. Once a milking shed - The Old Dairy - is tucked away down a private drive in an idyllic hamlet in rural Shropshire. The Old Dairy looks out onto Fitz Church which is one of the oldest brick built churches in Shropshire. We live next door at Dovecote Barn but even though The Old Dairy makes up a separate wing to our home, it is completely self-contained with its own entrance and key safe.
