Wendale Barn is a beautifully renovated, compact, detached building, the perfect place to relax on the edge of Cheddar. With private patio, decking & stunning views of the local lake & Glastonbury Tor. Private, romantic, the ideal getaway, with a double bed upstairs & sofa-bed in the living room; although it is open plan, so the shared space isn’t private. Access is via a series of steps up the hillside, some garden terraces are up to 1.1m high without guardrails, there is also a shallow pond.

You’ll be charmed by this adorable place to stay. We have created a self contained one bedroom unit as a luxurious bed and breakfast within our 17 th century farmhouse cottage. It boasts an inglenook fireplace and wood burner with an open plan living and dining area. There is a small kitchenette and a choice of continental breakfast is provided. The cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Ashcott overlooking the Quantock hills with beautiful views and has access to many country walks.

Beautifully furnished, romantic and spacious ancient dovecote in a gorgeous peaceful countryside setting, the thick stone walls make it warm and cosy in winter, cool in summer as well as quiet and private. Private heated swimming pool available in summer.
