Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Wellington

We had an incredible two nights at Marianne's home! Four beautiful bedrooms for four friends. We were able to be together and then retreat in private for the night. The home was extremely cozy, relaxed and had everything one would need for a weekend away. The home is on a quiet street within walking distance to Picton Main Street. The day before we arrived, the host kindly let us know that since no one was there the evening before we were welcome to check in early. A wonderful surprise! (But would have loved our stay just as much with the usual 4pm check in).

The house was spotless, very well equipped and in a fantastic location. Walking distance to all the restaurants and shops of Wellington. The pictures don’t do it justice. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us, and everyone loved the sunroom at the front of the house. We would definitely stay again!

Our family of 8 enjoyed a peaceful weekend here. The house was spacious and accommodated all of us easily. We loved the beautiful views of Lake Ontario and sitting on the deck while enjoying our morning coffee. The house is quite a ways off the beaten track, but it was so peaceful and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We loved our stay at Doulas’ house!

Lovely stay at Picton treetops! We were there very briefly for a wedding and this was the perfect headquarters for the weekend's events. So easy to get into town (9 minute walk) while also being calm and secluded (there is a beautiful, peaceful cemetery right across the street). It worked so well for our purposes and I'm so glad we found it. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a clean, comfortable, reliable, peaceful stay for a fun trip in the Picton area.

We stayed at the house for a family long weekend in May 2025. The property was as described and well appointed. A great base to visit the County.

Highly recommend Prince’s place! It was exactly as described, was in a great location and was extremely well equipped. Prince was super communicative and checkin/out was quite simple. Great spot for a weekend away!

We booked this lovely Airbnb months out for a long weekend wedding. Our stay was perfect. The Airbnb is extremely clean and has all of the convenience one may need. I really appreciated the small details, the simple instructions to check in as well as all the easy to find labeled things throughout the house. I feel like this is an Airbnb where the host thought through all of the scenarios. The location is very central and easy to walk to. The host was very responsive when we had a question. We stayed in May and The temperature was perfect but worth noting that the wall unit air conditioning is in the hallway and not in the actual bedrooms for those that like to keep their rooms extra cool. i’m sure it cools off perfectly fine if you leave the bedrooms open.

We booked Donna and Bobby’s place for our friend’s bachelorette weekend and WOW! We were blown away! It was a beautiful layout and had enough room for 10 women and all of our stuff. Gorgeous house with a beautiful layout. Every room in the house had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable and we felt right at home. Looking forward to coming back for another girls weekend! Our hosts were incredibly responsive and gave us great recommendations - they were also very accommodating when we wanted to check in a little bit early to set up in advance of the bride-to-be’s entrance. Wow, what a beautiful home! Hosts were great communicators and were very thoughtful. The space was large, well appointed and very clean. We wished we could have stayed longer to use the beautiful outdoor space. Hope to return one day!

Lori’s place is in an amazing location, handy to shops and restaurants. A grocery store is right across the street. Wellington is a beautiful little town and we enjoyed walking to the lake and checking out the shops. Lori’s apartment is incredibly clean and comfortable. It is very spacious and would be perfect for a larger group. The beds and furniture are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. It was easy to find and instructions were simple. There is a very private large balcony in the back with comfortable outdoor furniture, a bbq, and a hot tub. The front also has a smaller balcony with a view of the lake which is a block away. I highly recommend this lovely home.

Met Aleisha during our stay, and she was incredibly welcoming and accommodating! Great space to relax, beautiful decor, and great backyard space! Would stay again!

We really enjoyed our short stay in the rather large apartment in Picton. The location could not be better. The view out the kitchen window was lovely with the fall color and the little hint of the harbor that was visible. We enjoyed watching tv in the evenings in front of the fireplace. Definitely recommend!

This is a fantastic place. Saskia and Maarten are very nice. They sent us very clear instructions and recommandations. They also responded quickly to our questions. Everything in the airbnb is thought for you to enjoy and make your life easy. They are very helpful. They also provided an extension for us to plug our electric car. The place is very well located, close to Wellington and the Sandbanks. It is beautiful, next to the lake with a great view. They have lots of space and provide paddle boards, kayaks and canoes with direct access to the lake. It is comfortable and clean. Thank you!

Gordana was a wonderful host. Always reactive to my messages and any questions. The place was very well maintained and had beautiful interiors. I appreciated the hospitality and little details in the apartment. Very well situated and food / cafe at walking distance. Highly recommend!

Very responsive host. The suite was thoughtfully equipped and location was fantastic. We especially appreciated the variety of herbs and spices available for cooking. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Caroline's AirBnB! The grounds were beautiful and the home was stunning. Caroline was very responsive and easy to communicate with (the staff gave us a tour of the property, set up a fire and gave us town recommendations). I would highly recommend this property and would definitely return!

We really loved our visit and wished we were able to stay longer. The space is just as you see it in the listing. It was spotless and very comfortable. The beds were very clean and comfortable. The view was breathtaking. Dave was wonderful, answering all our questions, recommending restaurants and helping when we couldn't figure out the tv. An exceptional historic mansion which has been restored with great attention to detail. This home and the people who cared for us made our 25th anniversary so memorable. Incredible breakfasts and work behind the scenes by Karen in particular to help with reservations and other details made our stay an absolute highlight of our time in PEC. Five stars by every measure.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The house was incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed, and it pleasantly surprised us by being even more spacious than it appeared in the photos. Its ideal location near restaurants, cafes, shops, and Wellington Beach made our experience even better. Additionally, the short drive to beautiful wineries and beaches was a huge plus. Brent, our host, was exceptionally friendly and responsive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I'm already looking forward to visiting again in the future!

Fantastic historic building, very lovingly designed, lots of great details. The room is perfect and the breakfast was impressive, we can only recommend it.

A really beautiful property and room that exudes class and elegance. Jake greeted us and gave us a short tour of the house and provided us a bit of its history. (wonderful artwork everywhere). Jake was friendly and accomodating, suggesting a few good spots for after-dinner drinks and entertainment (check out "The Acoustic" for some good live music). All communication was prompt and striaghtforward. Checkin was a breeze. We stayed in the Elizabeth Taylor room which was simply luxurious. Overall, just an excellent experience and we would absolutely return again. Highly recommend.
