Apartment vacation rentals in Weligama Bay

The highlight was the hospitality. Took great care to ensure my stay was alright. The location is perfect, a little warm but the Aircon is good enough to keep you cool. Overall a great place to be staying while exploring Unawatuna.

Stayed from April 31 to March 16. We agreed with the host about a transfer from the airport for an honest price and also a transfer back. The place is very comfortable, definitely worth the money, the host is very friendly, treated with fruits and invited for a traditional breakfast. There will be many monkeys around you, a variety of birds and cute 🐿️ monkey squirrels have never entered our territory since they are shy but it's a pleasure to watch them from the outside. With the safety of the property, you can be absolutely peaceful. Also, friends came to us and the house is designed to accommodate 4 people but without an overnight stay, since the air conditioning is only in one bedroom and the rest of the room is cooled by fans. The kitchen is large, spacious with a stove, blender, rice cooker, and everything you need if you want to cook yourself. The shower room with toilet is large and spacious. The host also offers a tour to Ella and can take you there in his own car for a good price. And on the 3rd floor you will find 2 sun loungers and an amazing view of the starry sky 🌌

We had a great stay at this place. The apartment is perfectly renovated and extremely clean. It’s a great spot to experience local village life, away from the tourist crowds, and just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. Anna was always available for any questions and was very friendly. If you need complete silence to sleep, you might want to bring earplugs. Pickme doesn't work so well because of the hilly location, so I’d recommend saving the numbers of the tuk-tuk drivers and contacting them directly.

Ruwan is an extremely kind person who is very keen to ensure that you do not miss anything. The place looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was very clean. There was a fridge full of free water. Breakfast times were by arrangement, which we found very pleasant. Breakfast could have varied a bit more (it was the same every day). Ruwan organized transportation for us to the next accommodation at the Uber price. And the driver was very nice too. We took a trip to the turtles and to Galle together with Ruwan, which I had honestly imagined a little differently. I thought he was something like a tour guide who would also give us information, but he just drove us. I found the price to be a bit too high for that. But it was still very nice and a good idea. We do not regret spending 4 nights with Ruwan and can recommend it with a clear conscience. I'd love to go there again.

I had a really lovely stay here. It’s tucked away from the busy street but also close enough to walk there. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The room has everything you need. The host was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend :)

Had a lovely and relaxing weekend getaway at Gianluca’s beautiful apartment. The place is just a stone’s throw from amazing seafront restaurants and shops, perfectly located in the heart of Ahangama. It captures the town’s calm and quiet charm, while still being lively and entertaining. We woke up each morning to the gentle sound of ocean waves—such a dream. Gianluca was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and full of great local tips that made our stay even better. Thank you for the wonderful experience! We’ll definitely be back and will gladly recommend your place to anyone looking for a beautiful escape

Amazing place with everything you need, it's actually more beautiful than the photos. We stayed here for a week and everything was perfect and convenient! The host family is very friendly and provided useful information about nearby attractions and food! Thank you very much to Samurdhi and your family for doing all your best to provide us with service and help, I will choose to stay here next time I come to Kuala Lumpur!

Dilhan and his family welcomed us warmly from the start. We were well looked after and had people to contact around the clock. The apartment is clean and as shown in the pictures. Unfortunately, the apartment is opposite a very noisy street, but after the first few days this didn't bother us anymore and we were able to sleep well at night in the comfortable beds with earplugs. The apartment also has no hot water, but that didn't bother us at all in 30 degree heat. There is a bus stop right outside the front door from which you can get directly to Ahangama and Mirissa for little money. There is no air conditioning, but there is a powerful fan in every room. We highly recommend the accommodation and really felt very comfortable during our two weeks of stay :)

Very good apartment, everything looked like the photos. You will have access to a big kitchen with fridge and enough things to cook normal food, a room with a table + chair, good for working on computer, a bedroom with big bed, wardrobe big enough for 2 weeks, chairs, and a bathroom with shower with hot water, toilets and sink, and 2 small balconies. Place is quiet, you are far from trafic and nightlife, you can hear animals, especially peacocks who can be strongly noisy in early morning, and hear a mosque with pray in early morning too, but this one is kind of far. They are buildings under construction around the apartment, there was not renovation when I was, but it can be. Host is really nice, everything was smooth and confortable, amazing place to stay. To notice: - even if you can go to center by walking, I strongly advice to have a scooter - water pressure and wifi are not strong, as many places in Sri Lanka - they are dogs in the garden, very friendly

Beautiful, well-kept accommodation with great value for money. Sea, cafes/restaurants and shopping within walking distance. We felt very comfortable and can recommend the accommodation to anyone who wants to discover the south coast of Sri Lanka. Thank you Suresh for the great time at your place!

We had a nice stay here. The apartment is clean and modern. Good value for the price paid. There’s a hot plate and fridge as well as a few cooking utensils. The WiFi was not the strongest and wouldn’t be able to support video calls if you need that for work. We couldn’t stream shows on the wifi but it’s fine for basic email checking. The biggest surprise regarding this stay was that the address listed is not the actual address where you’ll be staying. When we arrived at the listed address, we were put in a tuktuk and taken to the actual location. However, from the apartment it’s only about a 10 min walk to restaurants, 20 min walk to the grocery store and 15 min walk to the beach. The location is in a quiet neighborhood amongst the rice fields with friendly neighbors. The hosts came to check on us quite often. Overall, would recommend this stay to others.

We loved it here. A short walk to a reef break. Amazing breakfast & coffees. Lovely chilled vibe with the kindest of staff. We were so sad to leave. Can’t recommend it enough.

Ethan is a wonderful host who has a nice property. the house is easy to find navigating through google maps and the check in is easy. The Propery is close by to the Galle beaches and not much of a hassle to find it. Ethan has a nice house which is well maintained. The house is tastefully done with great amineties. Breakfast is not served but the Kitchen is well equipped for cooking basic stuff. The bedrooms are large and A/c is quite Effective in all the rooms. WiFi is available which was of a good speed. We only stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved the place. There is a supermarket downstairs in the same building which will meet your small grocery needs. The Caretaker of this house Sameer is also very helpful. Ethan is very hospitable and keen on explaining the places nearby, suggestions, etc. Shall surely look forward to come back to stay Again..!!

Incredible garden, views and private balcony space. All staff were super kind, helpful and friendly. Bed is really comfy and the room is really big!

A large manor with a very unique and beautiful environment. There are coconut groves, mango trees, and starfruit trees... The location is also very good. It's right next to the beach. The service is very welcoming. It feels like home. It's also very personalized. Because we came back late from whale watching, they gave us a house to check out late. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to stay at the hotel and enjoy such a beautiful environment. I highly recommend it.

I with my friends stayed here and we really enjoyed our time there! The place is lovely and 100% matches photo, Location is also very good - there're beach, cafes and big grocery store are in 15-minute walk. Kelani and Shantha were very welcoming and supportive in everything! Highly recommend this place, would love to revisit it!
