The home is a perfect base to explore & work in AVL, but still have the comforts of home. We ware central to the Biltmore Estates, the Blue Ridge Mountains, local breweries and eateries, as well as outdoor activities. It is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with lush landscape, in Weaverville, just 7 miles from downtown AVL.

Eli Reeves Cabin at Hobbyknob farm

This two story log cabin was originally built in 1820 by Eli Reeves, an Indiana furniture maker. In the fall of 2015 it was moved log by log to our farm and was restored to feel like you stepped back in time but with very special touches. If these logs could talk! The first word most guests say is "wow" and we worked hard to earn that. We set out to create something special that would stand out to share with guests. Come experience this piece of history and make some memories of your own.
