Beautiful stay with insanely comfortable beds! We have stayed at multiple air bnbs in the area over the years and we found some much needed relaxation and joy in this home. So grateful for our hosts in making efforts in all the places that really make you feel ‘at home’ and like you’re on vacation at the same time!

took our dogs with us to the beach this year and found the perfect place to stay here. 5 min walk to the beach, good shade in the yard, nice and cool inside despite intense heat wave.

We had a wonderful time here! Everything was so peaceful and quiet. You cannot beat sitting on the deck and just listening to the water. The kitchen was fully stocked. Compared to other places we have stayed I didn't feel like I needed to go by anything to be able to cook a meal for my family.

Robert was an incredible host. I’ve never had such a gracious and kind host in my experience with Airbnb. We bought a ton of house essentials only to find that Robert already provided plenty of it. Upon our entry there was a welcome basket with a lot of info about the area. The house was stunning and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The pool and Jacuzzi were phenomenal as well. We truly enjoyed our time at Shenanigan Shores and would recommend booking it!

Kite's Inn was exactly as advertised and more. The home is beautiful, well-furnished, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved the location with great views of the Pamlico Sound. The House was ideal for pets and small children. The grass yard allowed our dogs to play outside and to swim in the Sound without having to worry about stepping on burs and the beach was ideal for our 1 1/2 year old grand child. The house is easy walking distance to nearby attractions and restaurants. Joshua is a great host who was responsive and proactive with ideas when we had a rainy day.

The Bach was the ideal beach getaway. Our accommodations were clean, well stocked and as advertised. Scott is extremely thorough and kind in his communication about everything- from checking in, to where to find the nearest hospital. He made sure we knew everything we needed to know to ensure a good vacation. His home is very clean, tidy, and beautifully decorated. We loved the porch for coffee in the morning, with the sound of waves crashing in the background. At night, the porch provided a wonderful view of the stars. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we could think of readily accessible. The walk to the beach was easy and convenient, just watch for little cactuses! The beach itself is so clean and refreshing, not crowded at all. And Scott has such a nice outdoor shower area, so nice when you have little ones to clean the sand off of. Our group had such a wonderful time and cant say enough good things about these hosts. You will not be disappointed booking here!

Cozy house full of old charm just steps away from the beach. All of the picture on the wall were beautiful and told a story about the house and the area. Everything was clean and neat. We cooked dinner for the majority of our stay, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Bathrooms were very clean as well. We would definitely stay here again when we visit in the future!

This was our first time traveling to the OBX area as a family & I feel like we hit the jackpot w/ location and Jody’s home. It was all as she described. It is so close to the beach the access is remarkable. The street is very quiet. Waves Deli (approx. 5 min away) is out of this world, we could have eaten there every night. It was nice to have a pool as we have little ones and they can only handle so much beach and Sun in a day. The pool loungers are new and in great shape. The home is a work of art. The beds were some of the comfiest beds we have had at a rental.

Maria’s place was perfect and close to the beach. The host was friendly and communicated well. Great visit.

The place was absolutely wonderful. Great atmosphere and overall amazing stay. Gracie was beyond sweet and we will definitely be staying here again. She made it a trip to remember and couldn’t have been more welcoming. 10/10.

This was perfect for our little getaway, we had everything we needed and it was within walking distance to the beach and the pier, as well as shops and restaurants. Amanda was very accommodating and made great recommendations for local places. The place was clean and quiet. Amanda also allowed flexible check in and out and was very friendly. I would recommend staying here and would also stay here again! Thanks again for having us!

Had a great stay at Mark's place! He was friendly and helpful, and the house was perfect for our beach weekend. Mark offered beach chairs, boards, and more that made the trip easy. Quick bike ride or drive to the beach!

We stayed here at Zoe’s place after our wedding. It was the most perfect little place to stay just my husband and I. We loved having a quiet little space to return to after hanging out with family and friends all week. Having the nice little touches like coffee from a local shop, laundry detergent, and bathroom items already there made it even extra special. Zoe definitely knows how to make a guest experience wonderful! If we ever need a little space for just us two we will return again!!

This home was everything for my week stay in OBX, clean home. Felt like I was home we had everything we needed. Communication was very quick!

We really enjoyed our stay here as a family with small children. There were only a couple other people at the condominium so the pool was always available and parking was easy. I liked how you get to park underneath the condos so your car stays shaded. The lock code to the stairwell and elevator made us feel secure. There were plenty of nice beach items to use in the storage including wagon, umbrella, and chairs. Each room had plenty of beach towels and bath towels. The walk to the beach was minimal. The only cons were loud vehicles since you are close to the road and one ceiling fan not working in a bedroom but that didn’t bother us! Overall it is a great place and exceeded our expectations!

Joe's place has stunning ocean views. It is on the forth floor. It is facing ocean without obstruction. it has big sliding doors in living room(both sides) and one bedroom. The balcony is very big. We enjoyed the sunrise and sunset. The apartment is very roomy, three of us had enough space. The location is in the center of outer banks. The grocery stores and restaurants are nearby. We definitely will come back!

Where to even start?! Meredith was awesome to rent from. The pictures were super accurate to the appearance of the rental. The condo was super clean and she thought of everything. We brought our three kids to the OBX and they never once said they were bored with everything she included in her place. The Sound is literally out your back door and has unmatched sunsets. The beach is less that 3 min drive away and she includes a parking pass that allows you to park super close to the access points. The town of Duck is right up the road and is a very walkable town that offers fun local shops and great dining options. Overall it was a great trip and we would highly recommend this condo to anyone.

I booked this location for our 2 year anniversary and it was an incredible stay. The view was perfect and the house was everything we needed for a few days stay. Gene was incredibly kind and even allowed us to check in early which worked out perfectly for us. The listing was just as described and honestly much more head space in the main room than we originally thought. The internet was great which was incredibly useful for our remote work. Couldn't recommend a better stay in the OBX for the price and location.

The location could not be beat! We loved walking to Scarborough Faire and biking to restaurants or the beach. House was clean and stocked well. We would definitely stay again!

This is a perfect place to stay while on Ocracoke! Very comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed a swim in the pool too! This spot is quiet and lovely. We enjoyed our morning coffee around the pool and enjoyed the smell of jasmine that was starting to open up and listened to the mourning doves. Easy walk to Ocracoke Coffee and The Back Porch restaurant. Don’t forget to shop at Bella Fiore and Books to be Red. We will be back!

This is our 3rd time staying here! Has a beautiful view, great access to the beach and a nice pool, which is so great to break up the day. We traveled with two adults and two children perfect amount of space. Little dated inside but has everything you need. We come for the location, because it’s so good! As other reviews have said there is a rental above you. We had one night of very late night noise but other than that it was a wonderful stay, we will be coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully updated and nicely appointed condo on Roanoke Island. The views of the Pamlico Sound were absolutely stunning—especially at sunrise with a cup of coffee in hand. The location was perfect, just a short drive to great restaurants and the Lost Colony outdoor show. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with all the basics we needed for cooking. We also loved the spacious dining and living area—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Highly recommend!
