Apartment vacation rentals in Wausau

Nick was super hospitable. The house was super comfortable and felt right at home. There were surprisingly a lot of seasoning and cookware available so it made it very easy to make a lot of meals instead of going out to eat all the time. The house was a quick 3 min walk to downtown Wausau where it had plenty of local coffee shops, bars and restaurants. The only downside (not a negative towards Nick or the Airbnb) was that some local places would just close early or not open even though they had listed hours. But regardless there were still plenty of things to do. Definitely would recommend staying at this Airbnb again!

Great place! We stayed for two nights for some spring break skiing at granite peak. The apartment was exactly as pictured. Very well furnished and the kitchen was very well equipped. Very comfortable for us (4 adults, 2 children). Nice views, clean and modern. We like renting Airbnb’s with a nice kitchen so we can avoid the expense of eating out all the time and this place had a great kitchen. Just note - there’s really only seating for 4 at the dining area. No big deal for us but if you have a larger group who likes to sit together-a consideration.

We had an excellent time in SP and loved staying in Deanna's home. The spacious apartment is in a great location and has the majority of the amenities we needed. Thanks for a wonderful trip - would stay here again in the future!

The apartment was beautiful, cozy and comfortable. It was truly a home away from home. Anything you could possibly need or want was at your finger tips. It was great fun finding all the treasures that graced the beautiful decor. We especially enjoyed the quite times we able to enjoy, relaxing in the apartment.

Great stay, might be a tight fit with 6 people but it was super good. Clean and gives you the ability to make food and store in a fridge. Beds are all essentially in the same room so no privacy, but thats not important especially on weekend where it was just us guys staying to ski at granite peak. Great stay, thank you Fred. We would come back!

The AC in the bedroom was great, as "fall" was still quite warm. All in all, Jhen was a pleasure to deal with, and this home was a wonderful place to stay!

LOVED this place!! Such a cute, well maintained, private, peaceful, clean, comfortable farm stay on an amazing property with a lot to do in any season. I loved the hot tub. Didn't have time to use the sauna but it looked amazing from the outside! Very cool to see the lake and farm animals too. Jolynne was very friendly and had a lot of good clear instructions. Strongly recommend!

This is my hometown and I visit regularly. I wish I would have known about it long ago. The stay was pleasant, quiet and comfortable.

I ended a business trip a week earlier than anticipated. Felicia was very understanding and credited back a week's worth of rent no questions asked. Very friendly and responsive host, would recommend staying here.

Kyra was great since the beginning. We had few changes in our plans and she was flexible all the time. Her place was bigger and better than expected. She was really thoughtful and left us some treats. We are grateful for spending such wonderful days. Would definitely go back and will recommend for sure!

I had a really great time here. I was here for a job assignment for a whole month. Nothing beats coming home to a very clean and beautifully furnished, quiet apartment after a long day at work. The whole place always smelled good. Everything is provided and all you have to bring is your clothes and some groceries. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were free for my whole stay. The WIFI was pretty fast as well. I loved just relaxing in the living room while you hear the ambient sound of the plow trucks passing by from outside. But don't worry, by 8 pm, everything gets quiet and you won't hear anything from outside. Sometimes I thought it was too quiet. The neighbors in the building were super quiet as well. Hopefully next time, I can rent this place again, but next time, I'll bring my family. There are a lot of things you can do around the area. There is a brewery across the street and I was told that it is one, if not, "the best" in town. Heidi was nice enough to leave a binder of all the great things you can do around the area. From restaurants to adventures. Thank you Heidi and hope to stay here again.

The condo was perfect for our stay within the Steven's Point area. Enough space and amenities to accommodate our needs. Ceola is a great host! Great follow-up on our questions and she was proactive in her communication throughout, and post-stay. Thank you!

Lisa's place was wonderful! Exactly as pictured/described and even cuter in person. Loved the places right on the street to shop, eat, and hang out. Such a friendly little town! We loved our stay for our 20th anniversary and will definitely be back! Thank you!

Had to be in town for a few days of appointments. It's quite a drive for us, so I decided to book an AirBNB. I booked Kathleens place after learning that my go to BNB was occupied during the time that we needed. Kathleens place will just have to go on my list of BNB options in the area. The place was more than I even expected... I don't think the listing does the space justice. I will admit that if you are after brand new, squeaky clean, sterile conditions this might not be the place for you. It was absolutely clean in every way that mattered but had a vintage cabin charm that you just cannot get with "sterile" We felt right at home, and I would not have it any other way. I was able to DoorDash some groceries and make pancakes in the morning! I forgot a couple things but found that the things I needed had already been left in the kitchen. What hotel could we have done that at? Kathleens place is a great example of what I love about AirBNB. Would recommend this stay to anyone.

The place is clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was easy to find. It's a great location as you can walk to restaurants or you are a short drive to outdoor recreation, like the Ice Age Trail. It's clear the owners are updating the facility and making it a great place to stay. I would 100% recommend it and 100% stay again.

I loved Mike's apartment. The location was perfect; 20 minutes door to door to Sand Valley. Quiet neighborhood and easy to access. Comfortable twin beds with massage functions as well! Great kitchen and a nice bathroom and shower. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone coming up to the area

DeLanee’s place was modern, clean and simple. It was close to downtown and not far from the highway. I’ll definitely stay here again.
