Places to stay in Wauchula

Highly Recommend! I was in town for work with very long work days. As a female traveling alone, I felt extremely safe coming in at 11pm and leaving at 6am. The first night, Chris saw me outside and came out and walked me to my guest house to make sure I found it ok. This is a small guest house, as described, but had everything I could possibly need or want; from a well stocked kitchen including coffee, water, snacks, and cooking supplies to bathroom supplies, extra pillows, etc. If I'm ever back in the area again, this will definitely be my first choice.

The home was very clean and up to date. All appliances were new and worked great. The kitchen was well stocked, from spices to snacks, from cold bottled water to pots/pans. Bathrooms were nice sized, plenty of towels, soap, shampoo. The neighborhood was lovely and safe. We caught fish in the backyard! Great place for wildlife viewing, saw many turtles and various birds. The two main beds are low--this is pictured in the images that are included with the listing--just something to keep in mind. The mattresses are comfortable. Location is ideal--grocery stores, restaurants are nearby. Beaches are close by. (The garage has beach chairs, umbrella, too!) The host is easily accessible--returned all my texts in just minutes!

We had a wonderful stay in Susan's home! We had no issues during our stay and really enjoy our time there. Would highly recommend! We will be back!

We loved our stay. The house is very clean and well appointed. It is in the most beautiful location on the water in Punta Gorda that is also nicely walkable to town. We would love to stay here again.

Svetlana was super responsive and flexible with our stay. It was such a relief to have the quick responses and a friendly host!

Perfect for what I needed. I was outside all day in the heat and humidity. I needed a place where I could shower, crank the A/C, and get a good night's sleep. This location was a much better value than a hotel room.

The Azalea house was wonderful ! Ray & Rebecca were the best hosts! They were responsive & it was obvious they care about their guests . All the extras were great ! There were 2 types of coffee pots & the kitchen was stocked with all the needed items & more! There were beach chairs & bikes ! Having access to a washer / dryer was appreciated. The home was extremely clean & well-kept . The fabulous pool was the cherry on top ! We will definitely stay at this home again !

Die Unterkunft hat meinen Erwartungen absolut entsprochen und ich würde sie wieder buchen. Alles sehr gepflegt und ordentlich. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hat auf alle Fragen ehest möglich geantwortet und war immer sehr hilfsbereit. Generell ist die Gegend rund um die Unterkunft sehr sauber und ruhig.
