No. 3537 Light & Airy Cozy Loft

CarmineRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This is a new favorite. So cute with everything we needed and so much more that we wouldn’t have thought to ask for. It’s so close to the downtown Corning with so much more than one fabulous museum. Angela was quick to answer any questions we had. There were no problems to fix. It was comfortable and easy to figure everything out but there were clear instructions for everything. I wouldn’t have looked for a fireplace but we got caught in a rain storm and it was so cozy. I love a place with snacks out incase we’re peckish upon arrival. The “This must be the place” sign was priceless!! I have long hair so the upscale shampoo and conditioner were appreciated. I didn’t get to look at the event space but I want to find the prices for it, other than a wedding, as the whole area is lovely.

Crows nest lake view flat

CherylRating, 5 stars1 day ago
My husband and I loved the upstairs apartment. It was so clean, comfortable, and quiet. There is a park right in the back yard on the lake. We enjoyed it daily and felt safe walking around any time day or night. We were so close to different activities and restaurants and used Erika’s guidebook to choose them. This is the perfect place to stay to explore the Finger Lakes area. We would return to Erika’s apartment in a heartbeat!

Watkins Glen, Near Seneca Lake and close to Ithaca

The Boujee Bungalow was absolutely beautiful. It looked just like the photos. Our hosts were so friendly and they went above and beyond with the personal touches in the cabin. They have a beautiful property and it is clear that they love the area and they want you to have a great stay. If I’m in the area again, I would gladly book it again. We also loved the location; it was close to the Seneca wine trail and Watkins Glen.

FLX Watkins Glen, Hiking, Wine Country, Waterfalls

TamiRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Bradley was an exceptional host! I had several questions both before our arrival and during our stay, and he always responded within minutes. He was kind, considerate, and respectful, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The property was exactly as pictured—exceptionally clean throughout. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked with essentials; the bedrooms were very comfortable, and the AC kept us perfectly cool, even when the temperatures hit close to 100 degrees during our stay. The location was perfect—just 8 to 10 minutes from downtown Watkins Glen and about 10–15 minutes from the race track, which made it super convenient for our plans. One evening after the races, I asked if we could have a few guys from the team over for a cookout, and Bradley responded immediately with a friendly and enthusiastic "yes!" That level of hospitality really stood out. We had a great time and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This has been one of the best experiences that my wife and I have ever had. Edgar was very proactive and thorough in his directions and instructions. The cabin is very peaceful and cozy. We could have stayed forever just reading on the porch or at the table inside by the window. Just about everything you would need is provided or available on the property. We look forward to returning in the future!

This was the cleanest and most beautiful space I have ever stayed in!! Such a great experience!!! Right on the wine trail! So many amazing wineries. Not close to a lot of fine dinning but the space had everything for making great meals and had all sorts of personal touches. Jeffery was super responsive and attentive! Could not ask for a better host! Also gave us our privacy! The best air B&B I have ever stayed at!

Your guide to Watkins Glen

Welcome to Watkins Glen

Cradled on the southern shore of Seneca Lake in New York’s Finger Lakes, Watkins Glen is home to both high-speed thrills and leisurely paced wonders. The Schuyler County city is known for its great outdoors, with dramatic cascades dancing over deep gorges in its parks. It also has an unrivaled agricultural scene, with apple farms, creameries, and plenty of wineries. But its moniker is perhaps best known as the one of the country’s great raceways — after all, American road racing started early here, and a love for cars still fuels the area’s need for speed.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Watkins Glen

Whether you’re looking to rev up your engines or bask among the new blooms, spring is a delightful time to stay in one of the area’s vacation rentals even though evenings can get cold and there’s often a fair chance of rain. Opening Weekend at The Glen in April officially kicks off the racing season. By the time temperatures warm up for summer, the festivals also crank into gear, with the Waterfront Festival in June, the Finger Lakes Wine Festival and the Finger Lakes Cheese Festival in July, and the Grand Prix Festival in September. The changing of the leaves’ colors ushers in crisp air along with fall fun, including the Falls Harvest Festival and the Finger Lakes Beer Festival. Just because the cold and snow come for winter doesn’t mean the celebrations have to end, so December hosts the Seneca Lake Wine Trail’s Deck the Halls Weekend and Village Christmas, complete with a candy-themed parade.

Top things to do in Watkins Glen

Watkins Glen International

Known in the area as simply the Glen, the road racing track has been part of the Watkins Glen identity since 1948. The 3.45-mile Grand Prix track hosts the auto races it’s known for and also plenty of festivals throughout the year. On certain weekends, you may even be able to take your own vehicle onto the track as part of the Drive the Glen experience. Racing enthusiasts should also make a pit stop at the International Motor Racing Research Center in town.

Watkins Glen State Park

Gorges, waterfalls, and trails, oh my! A two-mile hike through the New York state park involves ascending 800 stone steps, but it’s well worth it to follow the 19 waterfalls along the route. The area is also primed for biking, snowshoeing, and swimming.

Brick Tavern Museum and Wickham Rural Life Center

Just five minutes down Route 14 in Montour Falls are two buildings preserved by the Schuyler County Historical Society. As the oldest brick structure in the county, built in 1828, the Brick Tavern Museum showcases historic musical instruments, toys, and artifacts. Next door, the Wickham Rural Life Center shows what farm life was like between 1875 and 1925.
